I don't want to sound defeatist so how about a happy remark: Foster's smile as he photobombs Blackadder reminds me of the people who get a cushy job and realize nobody else has triggered yet that the job is beyond them...
But that dominating forward malarky, we've got good depth in loosies but they're young and relatively green, the locks are the same we had for years, and the props are arguably no improvement on the recent past. So I'm not sure where this newfound forward dominance will spring from, it is not as if overseas teams have gone backwards in this area (with the honourable exception of Australia). -

It’s time to
Put 15 players on the park
Not throw the ball forward or knock it on
Make our tackles
Secure possession
Score more points than the opposition -
@billy-tell how can you do all that without leaving it all out on the park tho

That's all you needed to say.

Dominate physically eh. I guess that makes Akira a certainty at 6. Unless it was a throwaway useless remark.
I feel like they will go for Frizzel, purely down to his "vast experience" and the loss of caps elsewhere, with Ardie the only experienced loosie. Prepare for meltdown.
It's funny, all my Canes mates talk about Akira being a waste of space and not having done anything in black since his "debut" in 2017 and it's impossible to convince them otherwise. Then you come on here and it swings the other way.

No it’s not…this place can still be a war ground even after a win!

The Fern has definitely gone through some cycles where winning was not enough. It had to be by 10 or more, or even 20 or more. The odd “we should put 50 on them” was said with a sarcastic ‘haha’ after it, but we know there was a seriousness to it also.
Scoring more points than the opposition has never been enough, because it had to be done in a certain way or with errorless rugby or with tries and not penalties, let alone those ‘cop out’ drop goals.

UPDATE: Ennor is to miss the Steinlager Series after suffering an appendicitis. Ennor has had the surgery and will be out of rugby for around five weeks. No replacement has been called into the squad at this stage.
Man, this guy has been unlucky with injuries. Midfield is looking light now

Jordie will finally get his chance in the midfield.
@Rancid-Schnitzel will be along shortly to like your post.

If I didn't know any better, I'd think appendicitis is contagious. Bridge had it not too long ago. I wish Ennor a speedy recovery.
I hope they call up big Leicester, but expect them to give PU-J a ring. Seriously hoping it won't be Billy P.
Edited to add that he'll most likely be back for the Rugby Championship, so it would only be a replacement for the Steinlager Series.
