@nzzp fucking bullshit. Our performances over the last 25 years have gotten worse year on year. Direct correlation.
You're not quite as good as you were in 1999-2000, but after that you are consistently in the top 2-8 in a cycle:
1999: Won it
2003: 2nd (Beaten finalist)
2007: Quarter finalist
2011: 3rd (lost to eventual champions in the semis)
2015: 2nd (Beaten finalist)
2019: Quarter finalistWith that record, you are probably the third best team in the World over the last 25 years. Your moaning isn't supported by the facts. Your team hasn't been as good as the ABs during that time, but we've had a golden era, as you did through the 1990s, and even then you went out in the quarters in 1995.
In fact, you're welcome, as playing us is probably what keeps you so strong.

@sparky The more we play you the worse Rugby does in Australia.
Been banging the exact same horse from the other side for ages. Playing each other achieves nothing but a slow death.
Not to mention you blokes are absolute bellends to deal with. 'Oh we have had our two (two?) Eden Park tests. That'll do us. We are too good to quarantine - you know, the exact thing we just made you do'.
And then you fucking announce it via social media. Couldn't make it up. Hopefully RA pull their finger out and commit to a domestic comp following this last fuck you from NZRU.
Removed a little bit of the robustness of this post (play the ball, not the man), but I do agree with it entirely.

This is a slight thread hijack but who would you play instead? I am always interested to hear the answer because it’s not like the Wallabies would do any better against a full strength Boks or England (@Bones) and given the series against France C there’s no guarantee they’d do any better against the other NH sides. Which leaves basically Japan and the Island teams and, with all due respect, they’re not going to attract the crowds or the challenge to improve the situation.

As expected, the whinger is having a whinge. Probably trying to take the attention away from his poor coaching record .
It wasn't our decision was it? WA closed its doors to us
Why let the truth get in the way of a good victimisation?

@derpus wouldn't quarantining.require complete rescheduling?
The 2 games in nz were played when the were scheduled, just one location change, so the quarantine argument isn't identical
The original schedule was Auckland - Perth - Wellington. There has already been schedule changes.
-
@kiwimurph ah ok...were the 1st 2 consecutive weekends originally?
At any rate, Robinson is still a fool.
-
@taniwharugby No they wern't. NZRU asked RA if they could reschedule and they obliged.
And no, WA didn't close the borders. If they did the premier of WA wouldn't be saying he will be looking to recover funds from ABs for cancelling.

And yes, Wallabies quarantined for two weeks in Wellington.
No they didn't, they arrived in the get home week NZers had, and didn;t have to quarantine. If they quarantined they wouldn't have played as they arrived within 2 weeks of the first Bledisloe. I'm not defending NZR executive, but don't lie

I think @Derpus means 2020 - Wallabies quarantining prior to Bledisloe 1 2020 at the Cake Tin.

Dude you need to keep up, Ozzie closed all NZ quarantine free travel yesterday, including WA. So ABS leave tomorrow, in Q for 2 weeks, that means they can't play until the weekend after the scheduled Perth test. You really are making stuff up.
Low risk jurisdictions
Before travelling to WA, complete a mandatory G2G PASS registration and declaration.
Complete a health screening on arrival.
Scan your G2G PASS and then verify you have suitable premises for self-quarantine.
If you have suitable premises, enter self-quarantine for 14 days. If not, you will be directed to enter a Government-approved quarantine facility at your own expense for 14 days.
You must wear a mask from when you enter WA until you arrive at suitable self-quarantine premises or government approved quarantine facilities. In addition if travelling by air, you must also wear a mask on the flight while in WA airspace, and while inside the airport (with some exceptions – e.g. children under the age of 12 are not required to wear a mask).
Travellers are subject to a COVID-19 test within 48 hours of arrival and on day 12 of quarantine, or at any point when symptoms develop. A mask must be worn while travelling to and from the COVID Clinic.
The G2G Now app enables virtual check-ins during your quarantine once you have entered WA. Travellers from low risk jurisdictions are encouraged to download and use the app. -

@machpants Alright look man, I can't be fucked to argue the nuances. Australia have a) quarantined for two weeks in order to play in NZ and b) rearranged the schedule to suit NZRU and to navigate pandemic related difficulties. We agreed to play Eden Park twice, for fuck sake. The single dumbest thing any rugby playing nation has ever done.
Now that there are difficulties in the other direction NZRU pull the plug via social media? jog on to mount doom and dive in.

@derpus so they can get on a plane as planned for next weekends game, if thats the case, then NZR are bigger fuckwits than I thought
The potential issue from this is if the RCs don't proceed after the Perth test for whatever reason, then the ABs could be stuck there for a while. I think NZR wanted a fixed RC schedule before committing to Perth, and they didn't get it in time.

@machpants Perth based Channel 9 sports journo.
Right so just making shit up like our journos, WA Premier didn't know when interviewed, not sure how this guy does. 'scope' from a journo is not really enough to fly out of the country on Sun - with the possibility of being in quarantine not only for the weekend of the test but the weekend after. NZR has made the correct decision not to fly out until it is sorted.
@Derpus Not arguing that, if true (and I really hope it isn't), that NZR neglected to inform RA before press release is anything but the actions of a bunch of unprofessional arrogant fluffybunnies.

McGowan is a fuckwit.
The ABs had to quarantine for two weeks. Those are the rules as per the WA website.
