@Machpants Yeah I'm thinking they will roll out an A.Bs B side for that last game if we win comfortably this week. Hopefully guys like PUJ, Jordan etc get a good trot.
Jordan would need to be very clear of concussion symptoms before he gets a run.

I would say there was almost zero chance of Frizell being dropped after being rested after two strong performances even if Akira is the peoples favorite.
Two strong performances? Two ok performances more like it - although I still haven’t done a tv watch of BC3 to see if he was better than live at the ground like some posters suggested.
I said it before I think he plays super tight makes the hard yards, puts in the tackles, we need that hardness. Akira might have the same stuff but hes not dropping Frizell when he is doing exactly what Foster wants.
-
@Canes4life why though? Laumape was terrible.

I just don't get the Akira omission! That just doesn't make sense.
anyone listening to Fozzies comments? Does he say anything about him?
After the game Fozzie specifically made a comment that he felt sorry for Akira having to come off and that he thought he was playing magnificently.

I know. That's why I was wondering if he's offered a reason? Is he carrying a niggle?

What did he do terribly? What has DMac done that makes you say he's been good?
Laumape was outside a poorly functioning BB who was outside a completely malfunctioning Perenara. He wasn't terrible.

^this
fozzies pet projects get loads of chances if things dont work perfectly for them, others he cuts loose unless they win things single hand idly
-
think it became clear weeks ago what Fozzie currently considers his top side, and after a loss, they want to bounce back, and bounce back hard!

YouTube is down atm. Can't watch Foster's comments.

You and Fozzie see a lot more in Shannon than I do - I didn’t notice it when watching him live.

I guess so, I rate him. But that said not much between our top loosies, we are building depth with Savea, Cane, Frizell, Akira and Sotutu, but tough to fit them all in. Not Fozzie's way to drop a performing player after being rested, wasn't Hansen's way either, in fact not many coach's way.

How the fuk has Jordie started every game? Is he seriously first team calibre now that we cant afford to not play him?
If thats the case, the AB's are in a terrible state.Really unlucky for Will Jordan, he is the guy who should really be pushing Jordie. Probably would have been on the bench for DMAC and could have pressed his claims for a start.

Rieko was pretty good on the wing last week too, certainly better than Jordie has been.

But I think he still favors having a fullback/wing.

You essentially get that with Clarke on the other side, with his ability under the high ball.
