    Time for TJP to retire.

    Or stay in Japan.

At least we know who the first-choice players are.

    TJP was terrible.

S Barrett - 2 cards and 2 loses in Aust. He had been very good until then, but what a fuckin' idiot.

Not happy at all. We saw last week what a poor side Australia are and tonight we lowered to their level. So much dumb thinking and poor defence.

Think we would have been done by South Africa, England and France tonight. Probably Ireland too.

ABs no consistent enough, still not the sum of their parts.

They tried a few new players (compared to last week) and mostly it didn't come off. But Aust were also much better this week.

But hooker, lock 6 HB 1st 5 2nd 5 definitely one wing were a step down from last week. In some cases the diff was huge

Don’t agree at all that the 6 was a step down.
I’d say he was a step up.

It’s already been mentioned, but our leaders need a kick up the arse for allowing and heavily contributing to such helter skelter, brain dead play.

I'm going to play devil's advocate here, but don't you think that is the way they've played the last 5 years?

The big difference is when it works, it looks like magic; like nobody is in the same galaxy as the ABs. A few mistakes from them and a few less from the opposition, and suddenly it is an entirely different looking game.

@MrDenmore Laumape has never impressed at test level. Thought he could step up this year but clearly SR is his level.

Maybe. But he wasn't on for long enough. But I would revert back next week

I’m blaming the Queensland Premier and her stupid border policy, forcing the ABs to fly into Brisbane on the day of a test.

You would have to say that TJP has become erratic and this performance was consistent with recent performances. He is so jumpy you don’t know what he is going to do.

    So we know our top 2, 9 & 10, 11,12,13 and 15

Props and locks are obvious, SB nigh drop down behind Vaai after another brain fart.

There is a battle for 6 and 8 coming up. Weber should get a shot ahead of TJ and move Reiko to 14.

Top 15 is starting to look strong.

@NTA yeah, your older blokes did the job of focusing the lads way better than ours.

Reluctantly feeling a bit happy for hooper and slipper. Not White though, the quintessential aussie fluffybunny.

    Right,

Same old, same old from the AB's, playing dumb rugby when things aren't going their way. BB's worst game for years and some dumb mistakes from his brothers as well as TJP and Reece. Laumape was anonymous.

Thought the turning point was late in 1st half when Oz kept us out. Cane had managed to get the teams concentration up a notch and failure to score then was probbly decisive. The team needs to just calm the fuck down and do the basics well when things are going right.

On the plus side, Reiko's best game for ages - very mature play and his defence in particular was simply unbelievable. Akira did well and hopefully will get another start or long field time as a sub. Lineout was solid and both Cane and Whitelock played out of their skin. Ardie was great too but does he start or do we have him as an impact player? The maul from the lineout is emerging a key weapon.

I can see why Foster made wholesale changes in a dead rubber, to test new combinations, and just hope he learns the lessons and we get the first choice selection next week

Biggest worry for me is mental attitude when under the pump. Key players in the team just seem to go to pieces.

Just too headless this time mate.

We've fucked up plenty like you describe but this one is next fucking level.

So dumb for basically an hour

I know BB was hopeless but can we blame him? He has hardly played 10 in the last year and a half.

    This.

Fozzie said before the game he expected some rust from him. Not exactly what you want to hear

Most telling thing was how little penetration the ABs had on attack. Was like watching Ta$man.

Come up against a match in the ruck and we have few players who can beat the defensive line.

    Sevu Reece ...

    Laumape ...

    Real garbage at test level.
