Can anybody water a Foster interview?
I'm not sure that I would piss on him if he was on fire the way things are going.
-
@Crazy-Horse What? Nooo! Next you'll be me telling me Ofa learnt from that weird pencil sharpener to the head experiment...

I'll mention a positive
Great to see Hodgman get a bench spot. He's been on a steady improvement for a few years now. A well earned debut
Plenty of other spots to disagree with.. in particular Sotutu should've got a start
I think another positive is Coles starting over Taylor.
Taylor looked flat last week. Two quality rakes so itโs a good sign to keep both hungry.

in before it gets changed
that bench is so big it puts Michael Cheika to shame
-
look at that, that's how you re-do a pack that turned out to be piss weak. You rissole a bunch of soft "technically proficient" cantabs, and bring in munters like Hayman and Robinson, promote Meews, and get some leadership in there with Rush and Gibbes.

Our lineout looks pretty vulnerable. A skinny rookie lock, no targets at 7 or 8, and an unproven six (is he any good as a target?).
Sotutu should be starting at 8, and would give an option.
Ta$man has used Frizell at lock quite frequently. He made the lineout steal on Sunday that led to our first try.
But, you're right - by my reckoning we've probably got our 4th and 8th choice locks starting.
Retallick, Whitelock, Barrett, Tuipolotu, Dickson, Strange, Parkinson Vaa'i.
-
@Toddy benched Collins who was a starter under Mitchell. Mils on the wing, how dare Henry... from what I recall Mils had not played any wing for the Blues in 2004 SR.
They had Rok (their best player that year), Howlett, Wulf, Nacewa
-
@ACT-Crusader Yeah, can't remember how he played in super rugby that year. Fairly strong team overall though with a rubbish loose forward trio.

Everything after Retallic is ordinary, and if you take late 2019 Retallick, then it's all ordinary.

Is there provision in Foster's contract for him to fired after one year?
Asking for a surfer friend and my mate in Japan.
I haven't surfed in a years, nor am I a mate in Japan but I would like to meet these people.

He's a goner, mate.
If ever there was a weekend for a Brian Lochore-style, "Gone to Auckland..." note on the fridge, it's this one.
Failing that, he could be playing in a Ranfurly shield challenge.
But, Big Brodie is doing neither of those things.
He's browsing the Off-Topic section to find the best craft beers with which to stock his fridge and to pick up handy hints on how to appropriately salt and marinate his brisket.

@Chris-B Big Brodie is already back in Japan.
That's the most unpatriotic thing I've heard all week!

Jacob Pierce will be next year's saviour.
