Hawke's Bay v Canterbury

The reverse pass from Fakatava is such a low percentage play, how often have you actually seen that work..?, and makes it even worse., thereโs a good chance your gonna be isolated..just trying to think of the last time a Canterbury team was kept to nil at halftime
-
This ref isn't terribly consistent in his adjudications at the breakdown.

Fakatava could work on his decision making.
I want him to work on his haircut first though.
We can't all be style icons like you bro.
Number 2 on side and trimmed on top is high fashion.

My main issue with him is he often doesn't give the attacker a chance to place the ball before awarding a penalty to a defender (this has been going both ways). I guess at least he's consistent.

He's taking the piss with the mauls. Red four falls to ground, gets back up and dusts himself off, rejoins on the side a couple of metres in front of the ball carrier.
Maul is going nowhere for about an hour, play on...

That's a nice try. Good step at pace by Mckay.
-
Holy christ ref - two clear opportunities to award penalty advantage and he swallows his whistle.
Lucky for Hawkes Bay they score.

I was just about to say the same thing, (but of course I'm inherently biased so didn't want to offend the ref fluffers on here. ), lying in the tackle went from automatic penalty to not counting at all.
