2021 Crusaders

@Bones I'm sorry to disappoint you, but it's also a wish of mine that Blackwell and Taramai disappear from the Hurricanes squad; that the Chiefs don't re-sign Leger; that Sio Tomkinson doesn't get a new SR contract and Tevita Nabura moves on and vacates his spot at the Highlanders. Sitting on fence re: some Blues players, too. Nice trolling attempt again though!

@Bones Keep twisting my words in your head. I've responded to your trolling attempts enough for today.
I'll be the judge of that.

Hawke's Bay boy or not there's no need to sit on the fence about Ruru. He ain't Super Rugby quality.

So, from the 2021 squad, both Ennor and Bridge are likely to be absent for months, if not the entire season (dependening on when it starts and how long it lasts).
When Ennor got injured, I expected them to move Havili to 12 and Goodhue to 13, which would give Jordan the fullback starting spot, with Reece on the right wing.
So who'll take the left wing? Reece, with Mataele on the right?
Another option is leaving Havili at fullback, with Jordan on the right wing, Mataele on the left, and McLeod in the 12 jersey (Goodhue 13). With Paea gone, I'm not sure the Crusaders have another 13 that is good enough for SR.
Tough for the squad, but at least Razor has plenty of time to ponder over selections.

What’s the status of Chay Fihaki?

A back 3 of Reece, Jordan and Havili looks most likely now.
Goodhue and Fai in the midfield

Another one. The Crusaders backs are dropping like flies ... This guy has no luck.
Manasa Mataele has joined fellow Crusaders wing George Bridge on the long-term injury list with a pectoral tear.
Mataele had surgery on Thursday
Bridge is expected to be out for up to six months, while the exact time-frame for Mataele’s return is unclear, but both could be unavailable for the start of Super Rugby next year.
Mataele’s pectoral tear is his second serious injury within two years, after he tore the ACL in his right-knee playing for the Crusaders in February last year.
He sustained his latest injury against Wellington a fortnight ago, although Canterbury initially believed it wouldn’t sideline him for long.

Still trying to get some oil, what I hear is most of the gaps
Are being filled out of the Crusaders academies .4 or 5 new players and 3 extra short term contracts to cover
Bridge,Ennor and Matale all having potential late starts due to injuries.
