@Bones be extra space where Tomkinson usually is too.

yeah, think im done with Sio, as stoked as i was to have someone from Otago Boys playing...he doesn't do enough to justify the number of chances hes been given

@Steven-Harris hadn't heard that, can i ask where you're hearing that? it would explain much as he was in position to be Benders understudy

@Bones maybe a case in McKay’s form of too little too late for the coaching staff, has to be more to it..Alaimalo will a great pick up for the landers

Alaimalo? Solomon Alaimalo is still under contract with the Chiefs for 2021; moving franchises during his current contract?

@Kiwiwomble from someone who is close to the Highlanders , you must also remember his brother Charles plays for Southland and he is very close to Dale McLeod who coached him as a youngster at Sydenham in Christchurch and also got him to Northland when he had given the game away as a 19 year old and moved to Melbourne ..are you joining all the dots..?.

@shark lmao reply to my comment twice. ALB and McKenzie were both scouted out if high school and came to Waikato and the Chiefs young. Majority of their development would have done from the club and franchise. Unsure about the story with Alaimalo, but 4 years with the Chiefs is a decent amount of development.

@Nepia the irony of United Colours of Chiefs fans saying Crusaders fans are throwing stones.

I'm perfectly entitled when a Christchurch schooled player is claimed as having been developed by the Chiefs. I'm not arguing the Crusaders don't recruit similarly, but I'm not going to proclaim wholeheartedly that we developed Brayden Ennor for example.

This was in a stuff article yesterday

Walden, 27, is without a Super Rugby contract at the moment after the Highlanders decided not to offer him an extension.

He will use the Mitre 10 Cup to log some much-needed game time after being overlooked for Super Rugby Aotearoa in the Deep South, but if his form for Taranaki last weekend is any guide, the suitors will knock on his door.

There is a midfield spot available at the Chiefs to replace Manu.

I can't believe that the Highlanders would want to base their midfield around Tomkinson.

yeah, im a bit dark on it all, even without the cards and brain farts Sio just doesn't do enough, doesn't create enough to get the free ride and number of "second" chances he gets

Walden is an actual leader who deserved better
