@Bones you can't even answer the question? I guess you like watching mediocre rugby then.
The Chiefs wingers not scoring tries is certainly part of the Chiefs losing when it's their job to finish off chances that arise. Frankly Wainui has rarely looked like scoring this year, but if you are happy with that then good on yah.
Chiefs are losing! Quick, ditch the wingers!

@Bones you have no argument, surprise suprise.
Argument against what? It's rugby 101 bro. If you're on a losing streak, it's got nothing to do with your fullback, inside backs, loose forwards, front row all not performing well enough. Fucken wings duh!
-
@Bones if you’re on an 8 game losing streak and you keep selecting the same players expecting a different result then you’re dreaming. Rugby 101 bro, your wingers are your finishers. The Chiefs have produced plenty of pill this year to get the job done, I guess let’s blame the props and locks for not putting points on the board because I forgot it’s their job to do so.

Your run at the chiefs coaching job next year is spot on. I don't see how the board could ignore it.

@ploughboy I’m not buying that, all teams have had injury issues throughout the season. The Chiefs have been in most of their games this year but have lacked that execution when it has counted. Take last week for example, they could have got on top of the Crusaders early in the second half but their so called micro skills and lack of finishing let them down. Story of their season really.
-
@Canes4life the Chiefs injuries in the tight 5 is far worse than any other franchise this year.
-
@Canes4life you dont buy that all these players have been injured?
-
@ploughboy I don’t buy that it’s a reason for their losses. They’ve been in plenty of games this season to get the job done.
-
@Canes4life you dont think that if we didnt have so many injurys that we might have won some of those games?
-
@Yeetyaah surely that’s more of a selection issue isn’t it? The Chiefs could have signed Tom Parsons or Geoff Cridge out of Hawkes Bay. I guess the Chiefs are just one big shit show atm.
Best of luck to them turning things around.
-
@ploughboy maybe so, however you can’t ignore poor coaching and I think that’s probably been the biggest problem.
-
@Canes4life ok if we had signed some hawkes players for our injurys we would have won some games?
-
@Canes4life i never said that,

No. Clearly it's the wings. Oh and the coaching. And not signing players. If only they had players the calibre of Goosen and Van Wyk.

Three Magpies! None in the starting lineup, but still ... 3!
So Chiefs to run away with it in the last 20?
-
@ploughboy maybe picking better squad players may have helped prepare the starters better, so yes picking those HB players over guys like Thomson may have helped, who bloody knows. What we do know is that Gatland is the laughing stock of NZ rugby atm and is odds on of not winning a game in this tournament.

@Canes4life DMAc has done nothing of the sort this season. He’s just played poorly. He’s made bad decisions, execution has been very bad. His goal kicking the only bright point. It’s the worst I’ve ever seen him play and I’m not a huge fan, but he’s played at a high level and that has had nothing to do with those around him.
