Canes in hot form after their big win against the Blues. The best 2nd 5 in the universe. The only Barrett playing decent footy. Plus a 9 that plays 10 just as good as he plays 9 😉
Saders always slow starters after a bye.
2020 has been a total fluffybunny of a year.
If the Hurricanes win in Christchurch against the Crusaders, 2020 will still be a f**king bastard but a bastard with a small drop of sweetness.
Go Canes!!!!!!
Drop of sweetness delivered, but 2020 you're still a piston wristed gibbon.

Glad the comp is still alive, good work canes

Great game. Congratulations to the Canes overcoming such a terrible refereeing display. Deserved winners.
I’m surprised the Saders only lost by 2 with the amount of calls the Canes got...
-
Jordie has been so fucking good this year. Has really come of age, he's world class now.
In hindsight we definitely kept the best Barrett.
-
Canes were kind of holding on in the 2nd half
Impressive game by PUJ. I was always a bit disappointed by him but the last 2 games hes been in great form. Keep this up and he will be an AB option
And goodbye to Ben Lam. Great way to say goodbye with 4 wins. And now a special win to end a tremendous home undefeated sequence

Ban incoming for Strange
ya gotta think that's going to be upgraded. Astonishing call on the field
It didn’t really matter given the time left and the fact it will be reviewed and there is opportunity to upgrade and ban.
Plus given it was one of those jersey punches (which I hate in any footy), it’s not an outright punch. But he’ll be getting a holiday in any event.

There was no point keeping two fullbacks and playing one out of position!

Oh man, after that I could really go for watching another game. I wonder who's playing in Australia? Oh, it's the Waratahs vs. The Force ...
Haha. Thankfully it’s not the Waratahs as they got their beans last night. Don’t mind the Force as they at least like running with the ball.

Selectors know a thing or two. Him, Frizzel, even DMac (prior to his injury) - starting to show what they can do
-
@ACT-Crusader Ha ha, at least there's one team who can play then.

And Kahui is debuting tonight.
-
@ACT-Crusader LOL, great crowd tonight there. Did they break 1000 in Sydney?
-
Just reflecting on how good Mo'unga is. What a freak. He's singlehandedly responsible for winning against the Blues, and damn near dragging the Saders over the line tonight. Massive contributions right through the season.
Also, Jeremy Thrush and Kahui for the Force? Cool

Lots of injuries before kick off. (Or was it something else)
The Hurricanes were dealt a triple-blow before the match even started, with tighthead prop Tyrel Lomax and reserve forwards Isaia Walker-Leawere and Vaea Fifita all being scratched through injury.
To make matters worse, loosehead Fraser Armstrong only lasted 16 minutes before he needed replacing.

He is Often maligned but I still think he is a work in progress rather than a finished product , has the tools to make a good test fullback Imo, that goal kicking could be a weapon on its own.
