    Hurricanes have only made 76% of their tackles. Need to improve that or the Crusaders will run away with this in the Second Half.

    Far be it from me to question coach selections, but Mr Workhard Blackwell is yet to make a tackle (according to rugby pass).

    He’s missed 4.

    Maybe the coaches listen to the commentary to make their selections?

    Of course they do. Where else would they get any sort of insightful analysis from?

    Goodhue has 4 missed tackles, 4 made, one penalty, and a try assist in that half. Very much a mixed bag.

    Laumape has 20 metres off 5 runs, 3 tackles made, 2 missed. Solid but defense remains an issue.

    Espn has him making 4 missing 3

    And the best bit for making team selections... Attributing stuff to completely the wrong player

    @Duluth

    Ta.

    I might go back to ESPN because these rugby pass stats look a bit strange (eg Goodhue’s try assist is missing too).

    No. They got rid of that when they decided hookers had to hook the ball.

    Bryn Hall tries to milk ruck penalties more than any other NZ halfback.

    Definitely better.

    To update:

    Goodhue 3 made 4 missed
    Laumape 4 made 1 missed.

    That penalty is such bullshit, he’s all alone and deserves to get hammered.

    Canes might need to hold onto the ball a bit more. Or improve their defending
