Missed players like Mckenzie and Rieko today, capable of breaking lines
Also poor decisions from Hansen: not picking owen Franks, Ben smith not even in the 23 (why the fuck Jordie Barrett??), putting Barrett instead of Cane, and always picking Sonny Bill in the 23 (he had a great game against Namibia... that's it)

and also ALB is more of a 13.. crotty should have been on the field today (with ALB)

@Entertainer15 disagree. We lost it in the forwards an with poor tactical kicking. Their forwards created go forward, won their lineouts and they were tactically miles ahead.

“Are you Scotland in disguise” ringing out in the pub.

    fluffybunnies everywhere I guess

Yeah. It was the relief as much as anything.
Firstly we weren’t shit. Then we won.

Far from shit, England were awesome.

I’ve rarely felt so physically sick during a match.
The danger is we treat that as our final.

It’s going to be tough to get up twice to that level, look at us with Ireland. Boks have to be favoured

This. Their props, Itoje and Underhill were monumental. Easy to point fingers at outside backs but, as always, small numbers won it.

Breakdown was the downfall. AB's couldn't handle rush defence. We played trash. England just played so well. Clinical as fuck. AB's didn't deserve shit.

Fuckin' John Mitchell. I should have ran him over when he went for his runs past my house. 😉

Theres a Chiefs vibe running through this shambles , Mitchell, MacLeod and Foster . Lets not just blame Canterbury

I've always thought this RWC would be the Boks to win.

Never thought we'd win the thing, but had some serious hope after we mullered Ireland. That hope disappeared after 50 minutes

@Entertainer15 I think we have a Fern first that a new poster has quoted their first post for their second post.

Stats can be misleading as the ABs tackle success was much better than England's (89% vs 82%). Where England were much better was in their dominant tackles.

I was more optimistic than that, I am a Blues supporter after all, that helps. I know a few that have been predicting exactly what happened tonight, and picking the Boks to take it out.

We didnt lose because of our backs. Our forwards got monstered. In the scrums, in the lineouts and at the breakdowns.

This is the most comprehensive defeat my middle age brain can remember

Haven't seen us smashed like that since the RWC Semi in 1991.

How come we were struggling in the lineouts

Looked to me live like Codie Taylor was off with his throws.

I agree we lost the collisions, but thought we were okay at scrum time. There was one penalty which I thought was one of those 50/50s because England’s bind slipped and Owens ruled against us.

Where’s Stargazer to explain how great Bridge is and how Richie wasn’t a defensive liability?
