Wasn't Owens in charge against SA in SA when they bypassed protocol on a try decision when it screened at the ground?
That was Clancy.
Owens had the Wellington test last year and one of the tests with Donald at 10 in 2009. Maybe one more Bledisloe loss in there somewhere?

Nigel is a good appointment for us as far as I’m concerned,
He is one that tends to allow the game to flow more than most imo , I couldn’t be happier with that bit of news

Gotta feel for Aki (or anyone that finds themselves in a similar position) all the work to get to this, then a momentary lapse and your dreams are gone!
That plus Henshaw would have been selected for the next three games so Aki gets an extra 3 weeks off after the tournament too!
I haven't been hugely impressed with Owens this world cup. If he keeps on as he has been going, Ireland will have a huge leeway at the tackle, breakdown, ruck, maul.

Weather forecast looks shit. Is this a negative for us? The game slowing down will benefit the Irish but we are a pretty decent wet weather team as well.

So supposedly a source close to the team have passed on to a mate (and so on)...so take with a grain of salt*.. Anyway they believe that unless injury occurs the team was announced internally yesterday.

So either a bug, or one of you funny buggers has a great edit feature

Remove the dots after the numbers and it’ll work
The software thinks you’re adding an ordered list and gets confused
