I feel sorry for him, as that happened very quickly, but under the current rulings, that should be red.
Exactly, very little he could realistically do there to change from going for the ball to safely making a tackle. I actually agree with stransky that yellow was warranted, but fuck it - nice to see a whinging NH team on the receiving end of these very harsh rule directives.

This is the only negative if ireland now go on to lose this match - it'll be blamed on the Kiwi / Islander thug, rather than on the very harsh high tackle directives
