Since all-time legend Dan Carter vacated the 10 jersey for the All Blacks following the 2015 Rugby World Cup, basically one man has followed in his footsteps.

An interesting thing on media articles, pretty much every team had articles about how hard they are training, how tough their world cup build up programs are. How they'll be the fittest team from XYZ country, or at the cup itself. But not the ABs. Weird.

Just watching Manawatu. Laumape looking classy as. How reminiscent of Nonu was that break and chip for Booths try?
Gets a wobbly pass, straightens off the left, burns through a gap, draws the last line and puts a deft little kick through for Booth to run onto.

Richie Mo'unga (shoulder), Jack Goodhue (hamstring), and to a lesser extent Sonny Bill Williams (calf), had been flagged earlier in the week as potential omissions from the match at FMG Stadium Waikato, but Sam Cane (hamstring) and Rieko Ioane (calf) were then also added to that list when the team was announced on Thursday.

All Blacks Head Coach Steve Hansen said the 22-year-old had not presented with any signs of concussion after the Test against Tonga last week but developed symptoms after the first training session this week.Ta$man loose forward Shannon Frizell has been called in and will arrive in Japan on Saturday. Frizell is pretty bloody average.
Only positive is that Fifita isn't going. -
I’m wondering if Jacobson will end up retiring early. If you get ruled out from concussion after holding the tackle bags it’s hard to see how you are going to survive a rugby career. Feel disappointed.

Strange old one as concussions can be bloody finicky and he said he seems to be doing OK. All things being even he wasn't going to play for 20 days at minimum so it seems a little premature. Even if scrubbed out in the first week of October, perhaps Squire is up for it then?
Maybe just too many guys are on managed loads and they need live bodies in these practice sessions.
