All Blacks team to play South Africa: Beauden Barrett, Ben Smith, Jack Goodhue, Sonny Bill Williams, Rieko Ioane, Richie Mo'unga, TJ Perenara, Kieran Read (c), Matt Todd, Shannon Frizell, Sam Whitelock, Brodie Retallick, Owen Franks, Codie Taylor, Joe Moody. Reserves: Dane Coles, Ofa Tuungafasi, Angus Ta'avao, Vaea Fifita, Dalton Papalii, Aaron Smith, Anton Lienert-Brown, George Bridge.

Oh I love the 10/15 combo. @Chris-B we thought it wouldn't happen... they must have been reading our posts
-
I like that team a lot. Except for the Todd openside bit. It's South Africa, you need Cane.
-
not bad. Fifita lives the most charmed life. How the fuck is turning up to the season below optimum fitness worse than being regularly shown to be substandard on the field?
-
@antipodean Todd won't be in the WC squad, so why bother playing him at openside? Weird.
-
SBW ahead of ALB goes against form as well. Gezz he gets given chance after chance. I'd prefer they go with ALB-Goodhue from here on out to build a combination.

At least Aaron Smith isn't starting. Absolute dogshit against SA last year.
Smith hasn't been terrible this year but TJP has taken his game to another level, he's the superior player now IMO.

I’m hoping that is exactly what is on the line at the blossoms versus scots game. Anyone else going?
That was the game I really really wanted tickets for... as yeah, it will likely be a QF spot on the line, and even if the Blossoms lose - I figure it's going to be a massive party.
But - no chance. After getting every single ticket I applied for in 2015, I got hardly any for this one. -
some surprising selections (good/bad and oh, ok then...)
I think this mid-field is the one the selectors have been wanting to get some time together...illness and injury played its part in stopping it, lets hope SBW pulls one out of the hat to knock his knockers, cos he needs to!!

I. for one, welcome our new midfield overlords.
Seriously, this is one I wanted to see last year. Goodhue running off Dubya will e just sensational.
Also, Goodhue's defence in this fixture last year was just sensational. Stopped Bokke in their tracks time and time again, just wonderful to watch
