I'm still so deflated from the CWC farce that I'm struggling to get excited about sport at the moment. I was basically emotionless watching the AB v Arg game. Then again it was only Argentina, I was pretty confident they wouldn't have the mental capacity to get over the line, which is how it eventuated.
Hopefully the old foe can spark some excitement again.
Watch the Warriors bro, that’s where the real excitement will be this Saturday.

The guy is on the brink of sporting suicide and you want to push him?

@Bovidae love this bit:
Barrett kicked all four of his shots at goal in the All Blacks' 20-16 win over the Pumas in Buenos Aires last weekend, but White suggested the pressure will intensify for the upcoming match.
"For example, people say Beauden Barrett's goal-kicking isn't that bad, and they're right when his team scores five tries and he converts two," White added.
"But it will be a different picture when the All Blacks only score two tries and he misses both, and that's what happens when there's pressure."
In a game we won by scoring 2 tries, he mentions that if we dont score 5 it ramps up the pressure....

All Blacks team to play South Africa: Beauden Barrett, Ben Smith, Jack Goodhue, Sonny Bill Williams, Rieko Ioane, Richie Mo'unga, TJ Perenara, Kieran Read (c), Matt Todd, Shannon Frizell, Sam Whitelock, Brodie Retallick, Owen Franks, Codie Taylor, Joe Moody. Reserves: Dane Coles, Ofa Tuungafasi, Angus Ta'avao, Vaea Fifita, Dalton Papalii, Aaron Smith, Anton Lienert-Brown, George Bridge.

Oh I love the 10/15 combo. @Chris-B we thought it wouldn't happen... they must have been reading our posts
-
I like that team a lot. Except for the Todd openside bit. It's South Africa, you need Cane.
-
not bad. Fifita lives the most charmed life. How the fuck is turning up to the season below optimum fitness worse than being regularly shown to be substandard on the field?
-
@antipodean Todd won't be in the WC squad, so why bother playing him at openside? Weird.
-
SBW ahead of ALB goes against form as well. Gezz he gets given chance after chance. I'd prefer they go with ALB-Goodhue from here on out to build a combination.

At least Aaron Smith isn't starting. Absolute dogshit against SA last year.
Smith hasn't been terrible this year but TJP has taken his game to another level, he's the superior player now IMO.
