tell you one thing, Ian Smith needs to flog off - can we get Danny Morrison?

@mariner4life thats not fair, McMillan would've scratched around, smacked a few and then gone out. Much like DeGrandhomme
I meant the head coach
I would take some Macca misplaced aggression right now.

poor ol' Guppy - just the poorest time for his luck to completely desert him.
Looking back on the home summer, he scored back to back 100's v. India - and then got injured/rotated (can't remember what) and then hes been absolute pants since, incl. vs Bangladesh.Had to look it up but the centuries were against Bangladesh.
-
@mariner4life apologies - forgot Stead played. I blame Hesson. Maybe he saw the writing on the wall...

That commentator just tried to claim there's been no seam movement. Lol.
Great shot Henry!

Should have bowled first.
No question IMO given the dodgy form of our batting line-up.
Our best chance was to have India going hard against our bowlers and nicking out Rohit and Virat early.
Instead, we're the ones thinking we need to post 300 and behind the eight ball.
Only good thing is that might be Bunrah's first spell done and he's only got one wicket. And they used up their review - two good things.
-
could this be just one of those pitches you've got to get yourself in on...so long as these two don't get out we're fine...
-
This game is already over
NZ will go do well to get 225 runs let alone sniff 250 runs
I think the Kiwi based TSF members can have an early night

I think most teams back themselves do both, even if they are better at one of them. So most teams base it on the conditions when perhaps they shouldn't.
Regardless if we are at 30/1 after 10 overs, that is fine going. The real question will be how we play Chahal.
-
Well one thing is for sure, if Munro was playing we'd be at least 2 down by now.
-
@No-Quarter yep, it's good to still have one opener there at the ten over mark
-
Not out, no review. Hah.

I'm actually happy with the start given how well Bumrah bowled. We didn't lose a bunch of wickets and we now have two set players at the crease, which is a far cry from the last few matches.
Still a massive task ahead but at least we haven't lost the game already.
