Shouldn't the concept of home advantage put the decision with the home team? Isn't the width of the field (and depth of in goal) up to the home team (as long as they meet minimum standards)? These can be adjusted to the advantage of the home team so why not the roof as well?

The Irish team, who aren’t fans of roofs, said that they wanted to embrace the great Welsh weather.
