Really enjoyed that game, full credit to the Welsh team, a real solid victory against a very good side. Congrats on the winning streak and was good to see how emotional Gats got at the end. Make sure you watch the 1014 lads interview with Gatland, really shows his true personality and I for one look forward to having him back in NZ.
Did he mix up a red sock when washing his whites?

Escaped the yellow, will be interesting to see what comes of this

Wales didn't really offer much, did they? England made 210 of 223 tackles - that's an incredible defensive performance. I think the amount of tackles just made England tired in the end. Even when Wales did score, they needed over 30 phases to do it and a very good take. England looked a lot more dangerous with ball in hand and their defence great. I'm still a lot more worried about them than the Welsh.
Wales showed an incredible amount of grit though. For the first 65 minutes I thought they had no chance of winning that.
Not sure I follow that logic. England appeared supremely dominant yet still couldn't beat a rather limited Welsh side? Not hugely worrying from my perspective.
We struggle when an opposition is tough to break down though. We don't score tries after 35 phases. Our players just aren't good enough to hold the ball that long. Barrett will do a silly grubber kick.
England's problem was that they just didn't get enough ball in the second half.
I wish we'd done a few 'silly grubber' kicks during the match.
The English were allowed to camp offside, and a few grubbers would have been far more successful than the shit box kicks we were putting up.
Sure, kick in behind on half way. Don't do it on attack.

Sinkler is undoubtedly talented. But he's dumb as a sack of hammers.
-
Interesting in the presser Gatland said they swapped wings second half.
Worked a treat.

Was at the game so not had the opportunity for replays and an overview but the problem looked to me that we just kept on kicking the ball away. When you're not getting much change out of that tactic it's criminal to kick away what little possession you do get.

A pop-up Chariot Repair shop has opened in Cardiff ahead of the crunch Six Nations game on Saturday,Thousands of England supporters are expected to attend the game, and city officials are concerned that thousands of chariots without wheels will cause gridlock in Cardiff.
Shop manager Gordon Skidgrits told WalesOnCraic:
“We are anticipating thousands of English toffs to descend on the city this Saturday. God knows where they are going to park them all but we are very worried that once Wales put them to the sword, we’re going to end up with chariot wheels all over the place. The aim of the shop is to get them fixed and on their way as soon as possible.”
Posh English fan Tarquin Smyth-Peacock told WalesOnCraic:
“Anyone for a cucumber sandwich?”

Both sides were guilty of it. Neither had much of a plan of what to do with the ball.
But that really carried in my impression if both teams the Feb. Wales have looked dire in attack, and have struggled to create points. England have been using big bodies in close and then a heap of tactical kick and chase. Both styles ran in to each other and created a stalemate that Wales managed to come out the right side of.

I think it is their deliberate tactic born from the realisation that trying to get players honed on a diet of risk averse Prem rugby to play an attacking style is a disaster against SH sides.
Put up a wall, kick early, put the wall back up.Very much the same as the ABs were trying out on the EOYT yet for us it is a style our guys aren't used too and our 'kick to space' is not great.

Italy score another and take the lead into half-time.
Ireland simply a shambles.

Italy score again and lead 16-12.
Much over-hyped Irish band wagon looking a bit shite.
Italy have looked bloody sharp to give them their dues. Long way to go but it would be quite funny to see them win without Parisse.
