Right at the bottom of a nothing article about AJ potentially changing trainers was...

In other heavyweight news, Britain’s Dillian Whyte has had to pull out of his scheduled fight with Sweden’s Otto Wallin in London on October 30.

Whyte suffered a shoulder injury at his training camp in Portugal.

@crucial Annoyingly I had lined up to go to Whyte vs Wallin in a box with a work contact, probably not worth it now for just the undercard.

Clever duck from Whyte as Wallin would have most likely beaten him and taken his shot away at Fury.

Guess we'll be seeing Fury v Whyte sometime next year.

Funny how these training injuries in boxing always seem to happen at just the right moment.

Tyson Fury had the 'most trouble' with Otto Wallin who is one win away from a rematch, says promoter Dmitriy Salita

Tyson Fury could be forced to offer a rematch to Otto Wallin, who will emerge as a future challenger for the British star if he defeats Dillian Whyte to claim the WBC interim heavyweight title this month

Canelo v Plant sunday for the unification of the super middleweight division , should be a good fight . The division has never been unified before and should Canelo win he will be the first mexican to unify any division.

Plant is a good boxer , with quick hands good footwork and movement , technically very sound .

But Canelo is canelo , and this will be a different test for him .

Im tipping a similar fight to the Saunders fight, competitive for a while with Plant being a bit tricky for Canelo early , before Canelo steps up the pace and breaks him down .

Canelo wins I think its fair to say we are witnessing greatness .4 division champion and he will have cleaned out every belt in this division in just 11 months , and still going.

@kiwiinmelb Yeah will be a comfortable win for Canelo in what is a weak division. It's simila to Terence Crawford cleaning out the 140 division. Light Heavyweight will be a much tougher division for him to conquer.

gets to a point where you cant keep going up as well , you reach a limit , i think light heavy might be starting to stretch it with his physical dimensions

That’s what Rocky Marciano would be if he fought today, possibly cruiserweight. Canelo could do it, unlike the Rock he has a reach more than his height for starters !

and when you are used to being the guy with the smaller reach , you have already worked out how to over come that , he is an amazing counter puncher

I often wonder how much those bags actually weigh, no one seems to move them too much of get them to “break” like other bags.

@kiwiinmelb Yup and much bigger hitters up there too like Beterbiev who will be his toughest test. Think he can win a title up there again, but he won't dominate as its a fairly decent division, far stronger than super middleweight.

I think 168 is his sweet spot but I wasn’t that sure of him moving up from middleweight so who knows with him ,

I think there is more fights for him before he moves up , benavediz is probably his toughest fight there as well , a big punching 2 time champion with a big knockout record . I think benavediz beats all the guys that canelo has beaten for the titles .
Then there is talk of a ggg trilogy fight at 168. Jermall charlo is also supposed to move up to 168 to fight canelo .

There’s another 12 months or more if they happen .

@kiwiinmelb Yeah good point, I rate Benavidez highly as well despite the fact that he fails to make weight a lot due to being a weight bully and his lack of discipline outside of the ring. Needs to live the life a bit more because he's one of the p4p best if he does.

@kiwiinmelb Crawford decision something along the lines of 116-112. Porter will start strong, is very tough and Crawford is a slow starter which is where I think Porter will snatch a few rounds with his bullrush, up close style where he barely gives his opponents rest similar to what he did with Spence, but Crawford take over the 2nd half of the fight for me.

    Your prediction?

Same , Crawford on points , i think his skills and slickness should get him home with the judges ,although porter will give it everything

I kind of like Shawn though , but at the same time , a Crawford v Spence fight both undefeated is what we want most from this division,
