Yeah never landed one clean or even near it on Parker.

Parker landed a few ok punches. Not sure he really has the power, but glad his confidence is there. Was a very smart fight by him. Executed the plan well

Good point. But is there any incentive in promoting a guy who he has beaten already ?

Main change I noticed from the Parker of old was the speed. Lightning fast, made Wilder look pretty ponderous at times. Seems to be a lot fitter and sure of himself, but the speed, both in the hands and the footwork, allowed him to attack without much risk, and get out of the way rapidly when needed.

He controlled centre ring and had wilder backing up for most of the fight , wilder has never looked good going backwards, that’s the part that impressed me most .

. Got some pretty handy mates for advice on how to trouble wilder.

Just caught some highlights…..Parker was hugely impressive.

What the hell was Wilder doing raising his arm at the end as if he’d won ? Crikey what a Tool.

Gotta give credit to Parker. I wrote him off and thought he'd walk onto something after winning every round but it became evident after about round 7 that Wilder was confused by Parker constantly staying on the outside of Wilder's right whilst constantly making himself a moving target so Wilder couldn't set his feet at any point or get him to walk onto a trap, something Wilder is usually very good at, but looked rather clueless out there and disinterested too in all honesty. I think it's time for Wilder to retire as his heart doesn't seem in it anymore.

Kevin Barry was right. Wilder has nothing after the trilogy vs Fury.

…..and he showed serious heart and guts in that series of fights. But only one ( very short ) fight since then ?

I reckon he’ll give it away. Hopefully he has invested the money as he says he has.

Only saw highlights but Parker was impressive. He has changed his physique and seems a lot more aggressive with higher workrate in the ring.

    Outstanding win!

I watched it again , the constant feints had wilder all twitchy too and he spent most of the fight not set up to be offensive .

I suspect wilder is finished, fury took his heart .

I see this fight as a combination of that, with Joe producing a career best performance in executing a fight plan .

Video of Adeasanya in the crowd, some back stage stuff etc. The usual Izzy bullshit but it is interesting to see how much he feels every moment in the Fa fight

Facing the guy who beat the guy who beat him.

…..but as we all know combat sports don’t work that way. Parker has genuinely improved massively since his loss to Joyce.

Arguably Zhang only shone in his 2 recent fights when he effectively destroyed the juggernaut Joyce. He’s a big brute though and hits hard; Parker will need to be at his best to beat him.

In boxing forums he is respected for exactly that ,he will fight anyone,

I’m guessing the fight plan will involve a lot of movement, I haven’t watched a lot of zhang outside the Joyce and hrgovic fights but there was a lot of talk before Joyce 1 he tends to tire in latter rounds .
