@kidcalder Yup sadly. Wish he'd just give up the WBC belt as he's holding up the division.

Spence v Crawford today,
3 fights I’d like to see , fury v usyk, canelo v benevidoz, Spence v Crawford,
2 of them , who knows , but at least we’ve got this one,
If you were to watch one fight this year , this is the one , both fighters are so talented and mentally tough .a true 50-50 .
Fight of the year , no question. Get on it . -
@kiwiinmelb Yup, 2 big boxing fights this week, a rarity in boxing.
Wimmer to go behind Naoya Inoue on the P4P lost after his demolition job on Stephen Fulton the other night.

I’m watching it at home on kayo( aus )

masterclass by Crawford, puts himself among the great welterweights ,
I was a bit stunned at the one sided nature of the fight, Spence plan of walking his opponent down with high workrate and precision that has worked on every occasion to date ran into a roadblock , an opponent that hit him back with telling shots.

Different class

Lots of wisdom here from Virgil hunter

Paul v Diaz
Entertaining watch

Fury is bloody entertaining and great for the sport even if he is full of shit and contradictory a lot of the time ie saying he’s the best ever when he said Mike Tyson would have knocked him out in 30 seconds a few months prior……
……and it is baffling a guy in that kind of condition ( granted he slims down for actual fights ) is on top of the world.

Joyce is a difficult opponent for most but a classic example of a one dimensional fighter meeting a fighter with a style that is all wrong him and he doesn’t have the answers .
But boy , zhang has some heavy hands

Look at the weights they both came in at, talk about Super Heavyweights.
You’re right, every fighter has their own personal boogyman. Joyce has found his.
Zhang is obviously a powerhouse though, dropping him with one punch when Parker couldn’t really hurt him.

Bugger…..
The guy that looked so formidable against Joseph Parker has been brought down to earth again…….
Will either Fury or Joshua take up the challenge I wonder ?
6'6 40 year old south paw Chinese boxer in the top 4 boxers, don't often see that.
-
@kiwiinmelb It really has been a cherry pick gone wrong, like David Price v Tony Thompson10 years back. Nowhere to go now for Joyce sadly, whilst Zhang surely goes in with Usyk next.

I know.
It’s a bit scary to think 6 4 Joseph Parker is considered too small to bang with these big boppers.

Another in a long line of very average British heavyweights
It looked like a pub fight with some young Turk calling out the bouncer who’s been on the doors for 20 years
We’ve all seen how that ends up

He looked the goods to me from what I saw until recently.
The way he plowed through anything Parker could offer was pretty ominous.
But as I said perhaps thats a reflection on JPs place in the pecking order ?
Fury has been pretty dismissive of the current heavyweight scene but you wonder if he fears a massive, awkward, southpaw hard hitter ?
Interesting times ahead.
