On Parker , while it feels like he has been around forever now , he is only 31 and apart from the Joyce fight , has escaped any real beatings ,
I think he is in this for business, by all reports he has been pretty smart with his money and is well set up , and while title aspirations are probably out of reach,at the same time the division doesn’t bat that deep .you only have to look at fury and Joshua’s last opponents to see they were lower ranked than joe , he might still sneak in a few more paydays and line his super before hanging them up .

@Duluth interesting scenario developing . He has been Charlos ( jermell) mandatory for some time . They paid him step aside money while Charlo unified the belts at 154 . Then Charlo develops an injury that requires surgery and needs time out . Meanwhile Tim stays active , has fought and beat other top contenders in convincing fashion.
If we go right back to the start I didn’t give Tim much of a chance to be honest , just thought he was over his head , now with the improvement he has shown and Charlo being inactive, this is developing into a 50/50 imo . -
It's on like Donkey Kong

@MiketheSnow Wish Fury would go away and be stripped of his title. His blatant ducking of Usyk is a disgrace and now he's resorting to this rubbish.

The fact it’s in Saudi who want to put the fight on, gives me a glimmer of hope.
We also have Aj v Whyte ( bit risky for aj with the wilder fight on the horizon)
Usyk v DuboisCrawford v Spence the big one ,
Canelo fighting jermell and signing a 3 fight deal with pbc gives us hope for a benevidoz showdown.

Also Zhang v Joyce 2 should be a decent scrap to look forward to.
Lock me in for that. I still can’t believe the previously indestructible looking Joyce actually lost the first one !

@kiwiinmelb Hopefully we see AJ v Wilder once he gets Whyte out of the way and as Fury clearly doesn't want anything to do with Usyk, we'll probably see him up against Hrgovic as a mandatory.
Problem for Usyk is the Fury fight is the only fight out there for him, he's too good for everyone else and doesn't really need to be wasting time fighting anyone else.

Wilder would beat Usyk.

@MN5 Lol yeah nah. As much as I like Wilder, Usyk is far too cleaver and slick for Wilder's one straight right hand and would easily avoid it for 12 rounds.
Glass jawed Artur Szpilka gave Wilder fits before Wilder landed one in the 9th and he ain't anywhere near Usyk's class so yeah, Usyk ain't getting beaten by anybody.

You’re probably right but Wilder is ALWAYS a punchers chance. More so than anyone else in the division. Massive heart too as he showed in the third fight vs Fury.
-
@kidcalder Yup sadly. Wish he'd just give up the WBC belt as he's holding up the division.

Spence v Crawford today,
3 fights I’d like to see , fury v usyk, canelo v benevidoz, Spence v Crawford,
2 of them , who knows , but at least we’ve got this one,
If you were to watch one fight this year , this is the one , both fighters are so talented and mentally tough .a true 50-50 .
Fight of the year , no question. Get on it . -
@kiwiinmelb Yup, 2 big boxing fights this week, a rarity in boxing.
