Not exactly a headline name and even the stats don't help much. A total of thirteen appearances in provincial fixtures over five seasons and eleven of those were off the bench. Can the BoP Mafia help us out?

Normally, we don't mention foreigners in this thread, but I'm including him because he played for Northland this year: Irish prop Conan O'Donnell has signed with Toronto Arrows.

Kurt Baker may have retired from sevens, but he hasn't retired from XVs. He has signed with Old Glory DC.

Kurt will join Old Glory in a player-coach role where he will assist in coaching the backs as well as play in the Fullback and Wing positions.

No doubt, his season playing for the Magpies got him there, with Josh Syms being Old Glory's head coach.

@booboo Toka Natua is another from the rugby nursery of Tokoroa. Not many props can say they scored a hat-trick in a RWC final, which she did in 2017.

The end of a sorry saga. Based on what I’ve seen I’m not expecting too much at ASM. Definitely not another Fritz Lee IMHO.

It seems he's giving up on the black jersey way too easily/quickly. I can't help thinking there's more to the Pita Gus story that we don't know.

It has been mentioned that he had some off field issues. Seems a shame and now he can't play for Fiji or anyone else

Chalk that one up to the Foster/Hansen school of mismanagement. Frustrating.
