Bledisloe I

We looked quite disorganised in our attack particularly at the ruck. Turned over far too much ball. Defensively we’ve been pretty good.
Squire has been good in his ball carries, getting over the gain line.
It took us a while to get the support play going.
Wallabies ruck work very good. Very physical and have the big bodies to crowd us.

I actually think the Aussie defence deserves some credit , we probably aren’t used to this sort of intensity from them
Agreed. Can't remember the last time they had so much sting in their tackling and their line speed has been top notch as well. Barret has never been good against a good rush defence.

Be nice if Mo'unga was at least on the bench. He's earnt his place ahead of DMac and should be breathing down Beauden's neck.

6-5 at the half.
On the whole I feel we've been on top but for crying out loud we've blown some opportunities
Yeah, we’re not playing too shit. The aussies are playing pretty well too so it’s a good match to watch.
Brodie is the Winx of rugby. Just deadset fucking freak!!!
Great competitive match to watch 👍

If only there was a decent in form first five in New Zea... oh.
Look BB has been ordinary, but what is RM going to bring with these tactics? The same people were banging on about getting Lima in last year and look what happened. Good luck for any flyhalf with this structure.
He might have got those kicks though.....
This!

Thought there were some encouraging signs late , as we started to string the phases together,
Not rocket science but possession will be key , the team that dominates possession should take it out

I think Beaudy has been okay. Not too much aimless kicking. We have tried to play the game at tempo while also keeping the ball, which is all I really want. He has mixed up attacking the line and passing. He should be getting at least one of the kicks though.
-
Wallabies midfield rush is working, ABs still haven't figured how to deal with it.
Also, most of the time, the tricky ABs forward short passing game is not confusing the wallabies
Quite funny, with Ozzie commentators, going on about never seen the ABs make so many errors. Obviously didn't watch the games vs France, even tho they mentioned the ABs appalling stats in that regard be the French. Our error rate this year has been embarrassing - probably still win tho

@mikethesnow hahaha yeah we can see how Frank's was flattened there

Beaudy passed 22 times, ran 5 times and not sure how much he kicked. That is probably the right mix, even if the execution wasn't always the best.

I don't think BB is the problem either. If anything, they (the coaches) may have tried to change things too much or too fast, or make moves too complex. That takes time. It will stick at some point. Just hope it won't cost us points until it does.
No individual is the problem. It’s a team game. But he has been poor. If I were defending Barrett in that half, I would’ve been sliding because he was shovellling on without threatening the line. He didn’t even try and disguise it.
I hope he takes the line on a bit more. We do need better support play when he does because he is an excellent officer in the tackle because he has that uncanny ability to stay on his feet and get his arms free.
We need Taylor and Whitelock to lift a notch. We haven’t seen any of Taylor’s trademark wing runs.

Fucking magic. Goodhue having a really good game.
