@taniwharugby Of those games only the ABs games were at Homebush - the others were at SFS.

Really can't understand the apprehension here. Shag is God. Cheika's a clown. You're the All Blacks and will win handsomely.

    Brodie Retallick? Anyone?

    But Retallick isn't a Crusader?

It's very mean of you to be rehashing Toddy Blackadder's misdemeanors.

What next? The long list of unworthy Champions crowned during his watch? 🙂

Don you should know well that the Crusaders don’t need your ALl Blacks. We will take the riff raff of other provinces/franchises and once they wear that red’n’black their AB chances skyrocket.

To me the acid is on Beauden Barrett,he’s the player that’s got both Mckenzie and Mo’unga breathing down his neck,he’s on notice as far as I am concerned.
As for Goodhue I have no issues, especially when you hear the endorsements coming from many of the players that front up along side him.
I have no doubts that ABL and Goodhue will be a long term midfield combo just as they were in the 2015 AB under 20s.

    Goodhue was on the wing.
Midfield was Faiane and ALB. Faiane was rated #1 secondfive all throughout age grade rugby. He's failed to deliver since then. Seems to be the forgotten midfielder who people expected big things from.

Laumape is still young as well.

Was listening to some guy preview the rugby on Macquarie sports radio ( new aus radio station ) and according to him , Australia might have the edge in the backs ,

Not looking good for us then .

Beauden Barrett 8: Off his game early, but two tries showed his class in second half as came back from head assessment. Made plenty of tackles too. Not quite back to his vintage 2016 form, but a big step in the right direction

cheers - was watching while exercising, and Lima must have been on for the head knock

I'm not going mad - it was Lima on all game in 10.http://www.allblacks.com/News/31624/all-blacks-team-named-for-final-test-against-australia

also - wayne barnes was refereeing. Wallabies played well, chanced their arm and overcame some horrible handling from Beale to get the win. Well done those lads

Also, had Scott Barrett playing and not looking particularly physical. Fark I love me some BBBR

@nzzp you said Dunners earlier (2nd Bledisloe 2017) but now are talking about Brisbane (3rd Bledisloe 2017).

    @nzzp said in Bledisloe I:

wasn't Lima starting at 10 in Dunners ?

It's too quiet. The lack of pre-match spittle from the Wallaby camp is making me nervous.

The thing is, there isn't much between the teams at the top level. They are a good side, and have been improving over the last few years. Tight 5 look good. ALways a starters chance, and if they win tomorrow, the rematch at Eden Pork will be sensational.

I'm really looking forward to it; should be a great game of footy.

It is Aussie radio, you'd hope they have hope!

@nzzp I had a look through the refs last year, I think Barnes is one of a couple of top refs (all NH) that we've lost more than we've won under. That WR conspiracy to have ABs top is going well.

John Hart interviewed (from 9.30) - always worth listening to. Talking up the Aussies - reckons they'll be competitive, though we will win. Says we shouldn't underestimate them.

Notes Read is light years ahead of any other NZ No. 8 - think Akira is No. 2.

Agrees with me on Goodhue - thinks he'll be the incumbent centre by RWC, with SBW and Crotty fighting it out for the 2nd five spot. Didn't mention ALB... @mariner4life you might need to retrieve your toys so you can throw them again. 🙂

Thought they would have gone with BSmith and Jordie.

Expecting Beauden to have a big game.

The really irritating thing is that for most of a game, Wayne-o refs really well. It's just a few things that seem to have no 'feel' for the game, or random ticky-tack calls against the run of play.

Ah well, he's going to ref us at Eden Park. Where last time he coughed up a crappy forward pass call at the end of the game. We better play well
