And they've re-signed JG-B. I'm wondering whether they're going to re-sign James Marshall and Fletcher Smith, too.
And do they already know what BB is going to do and has that influenced their decision to re-sign JG-B or decisions regarding Marshall and Smith?
I also wonder whether McClutchie is in the mix somehow; or will be, if he has a good M10 Cup season?

@Stargazer Crusaders may need a First Five if Hunt moves to the Landers chance for McClutchie or Smith ?

@Chris From a player development perspective, it would be great if the Crusaders sign McClutchie. He's like a younger, inexperienced version of Mo'unga at the moment with a lot of potential that just needs to be developed. He'd be able to learn so much from RM, probably more than from BB, who's an entirely different player - both in style and physique and who may not even be there (next year).
From a Magpies supporter perspective, I don't really care where he goes, as long as he gets plenty of opportunity to become the best player he can be - and that includes game time (and the Canes aren't usually very good at giving all their prospects game time). That will then benefit the Bay as well.

@Stargazer May not need to let anyone go considering Beauden will most likely have a year off. McClutchie will just come in for him I would say.

@Canes4life Yeah, possibly, but I prefer longer term thinking and what's best for the development of McClutchie as a player. He can't learn anything from BB if BB isn't there.

@Stargazer Crusaders through Philpott,Dagg and a few other do have a strong connection with the Bay so I am sure they are watching McClutchie.

Squad so far for 2020: If we can get both Barretts, Walker-Leawere and a couple solid props signed up in addition to the below, we could be looking pretty solid next year with very little impact from the post WC exodus.
