Who turns down 3 in front of the post with 90 seconds left in a half? Honestly? Who does that?
Sir, sir. New Zealand, sir.

@taniwharugby To be fair, Read would have done the exact same thing.
-
ABs look rusty - to be expected.
Not the same sans Brodie & Kieran.
Goodhue must wonder what he has to do to get a shot at 13.
Jordie is a keeper. He looks as tall as his brother Scott. ABs wont lose to many up 'n' under battles with him at 15.
I do wish it was BB to 15 and RM to 10 rather than DMac, although he might just do something special I suppose.
As expected, the French are putting up a good show. They were very unlucky to lose to Ireland in the 6N. -

It is stupid to not take points late in the half. Part of the reason for going for touch is that even if you cock it up, most of the time you will still get a lineout/scrum deep in the opposition 22m. When you go for touch at the end of a half and you cock it up it is half time.

Well, after seeing this first half, I think BFA at 14 is clearly the wrong decision. Naholo would have been a better option. Cue BFA proving me wrong in the 2nd half (I hope).
He has played some fantastic rugby on the right wing in his early test years , may have had a bit more spark in his attacking games in those days though .

Which begs the question - is BFA past it? He's old for an outside back, and Jordie is playing the house down at 15.

@no-quarter It's bound to happen at some point. Rather this year, than next.

Grrr chip kick just hands back possesion.
