Luke whitelock is the kind of player england would pick. And we would denigrate them for it. 7/10 player and all that
-
Bray should be more concerned that Briant was so quick to award the try, and should be instructing the ARs and TMOs to provide more real-time support to the ref. The TMO is quick to notify the ref of foul play so should be able to do the same for tries when there is some doubt over a pass/knock on/foot in touch etc before being asked to do so. At the end of the day, we (players, coaches, public) just want to correct decision to be made.

Yeah no one is going to confuse Luke with....
I’m a bit disappointed. I could’ve sworn that was an 80 metre run the last time I told someone about that try....
-
@kiwimurph was only the Reds
he shoulda been able to play and win that game on his own

180? Rounding up is fine for that one.

@booboo Not really ...

Anti Cantab bullshit aside, @booboo would you be comfortable if it was the BIL captain who did it during a test last year?
I didn't see the incident so curious about people's opinions on this.
I didn't see it either ... or more correctly don't recall it.
And I don't like what was described.
Still comes across as bitter.
Would Knowler be praising the Cantab skipper for "standing up" for his team if it was reversed?
Was the right decision made?
Perhaps Briant should have penalised Smith ... ? You can ask the question as captain but you can't fluff your bunny.
Still funny seeing the Cantabs whinge ...

Total over reaction to this whole thing.
Ben Smith didn't do anything i haven't see happen 100 times over the last few years.I would rather the refs got the call right in the first place. It was pretty clear the ball bounced, so check it.
I would have liked it if Read had put similar pressure on both french fucks when we got screwed at the end of the 2nd and 3rd Lions tests.
