Bledisloe 3

Not sure whether Liam Napier's opinion is based on any rumours or facts ...
The All Blacks are unlikely to call up a replacement for Nehe Milner-Skudder in the final Bledisloe Cup test in Brisbane next weekend. Waisake Naholo, in top form in his return to test rugby against the Pumas in Argentina and again with Taranaki in the Ranfurly Shield defence last Wednesday night in New Plymouth, is expected to take Milner-Skudder's spot on the right wing for the Wallabies. With Rieko Ioane on the other wing; Damian McKenzie at fullback and David Havili proving he, too, is comfortable with the step up, the All Blacks have plenty of cover for now. That alone speaks volumes with Milner-Skudder joining Israel Dagg, Jordie Barrett and Ben Smith on the unavailable back three list after dislocating his shoulder in Cape Town. Provided he passes his concussion tests, Beauden Barrett offers further cover by sliding back to fullback and pushing McKenzie to the wing later in the match if needed. The All Blacks are, however, certain to include one, possibly two, extra wings in their end-of-year tour contingent. That may pave the way for Tamanivalu's return, with Matt Duffie and Julian Savea possibly fighting it out for another outside back role. ...
The next crop of New Zealand halfbacks will also have to continue to bide their time with Tawera Kerr-Barlow expected to go on the end of year tour, despite soon departing to French club La Rochelle.
All Blacks coach Steve Hansen has also declared he won't take an apprentice north. Rampaging Wellington hooker Asafo Aumua was favoured for this role but, if he is to make the trip, he will need to edge out Nathan Harris.

Meanwhile SammyC will be pissed off and see it as a NZR plot to disadvantage Canterbury.

WALLABIES SQUAD FOR BLEDISLOE CUP III
Forwards: Rory Arnold, Folau Faingaa.
Backs: Joe Powell, Henry Speight. These four played for the Vikings in their big win over the Rays on Sunday. Rory went off with what looked like a corked thigh just above the knee. I'd be surprised to see him play on the weekend given how tender it looked.

No BBBR and BB is in doubt. This game is starting to worry me a bit. Would not want to drop a game to this mob, we wouldn't hear the end of it.
They'd have earned it. Dunedin shoudl have been a win to the Wobbles. And they love BrisVegas - it's a good groudn for them.
If our tighties turn up, we'll win - same old story that it's won or lost up front. Hoping that big Patty T starts to really hit his old straps.

@unite The Bledisloe 3 team will normally be picked from the RC squad, but obviously - because they've come home from travelling - they could call up players who are not in the squad if they wanted to.
The EOYT squad is usually named the Sunday after the Bledisloe 3 test and the Mitre 10 Cup semi-finals, so - if it's the same this year - that will be Sunday, 22 October.

Now I'm slightly annoyed that Ta$man doesn't have Canterbury - Canterbury with RM and without are two different propositions.

@KiwiMurph I was just thinking the other day: why the fuck aren't they playing this game in Nelson?
