WALLABIES SQUAD FOR BLEDISLOE CUP III
    Forwards: Rory Arnold, Folau Faingaa.
    Backs: Joe Powell, Henry Speight.

These four played for the Vikings in their big win over the Rays on Sunday. Rory went off with what looked like a corked thigh just above the knee. I'd be surprised to see him play on the weekend given how tender it looked.

No BBBR and BB is in doubt. This game is starting to worry me a bit. Would not want to drop a game to this mob, we wouldn't hear the end of it.

They'd have earned it. Dunedin shoudl have been a win to the Wobbles. And they love BrisVegas - it's a good groudn for them.

If our tighties turn up, we'll win - same old story that it's won or lost up front. Hoping that big Patty T starts to really hit his old straps.

@unite The Bledisloe 3 team will normally be picked from the RC squad, but obviously - because they've come home from travelling - they could call up players who are not in the squad if they wanted to.

The EOYT squad is usually named the Sunday after the Bledisloe 3 test and the Mitre 10 Cup semi-finals, so - if it's the same this year - that will be Sunday, 22 October.

Hi! I’m from wales but a huge all black fan, will be going to the game in Cardiff with my son (which will be his 1st all black game) anyway was hoping to go take him to their hotel to get a few autographs and was wondering if anyone knows what Hotel they staying at? Thanks πŸ‘

    @Stargazer will be celebrating

NEWS | Richie Mo'unga called into #AllBlacks squad for third #BledisloeCup Test.

Meanwhile SammyC will be pissed off and see it as a NZR plot to disadvantage Canterbury. πŸ˜‰

Nah we will be OK..... good opportunity to roll the next number 10 off the production line πŸ™‚

Now I'm slightly annoyed that Ta$man doesn't have Canterbury - Canterbury with RM and without are two different propositions.

@kiwimurph You would have noticed it even more if you guys had been relegated - believe me! πŸ™‚

However, you'll likely be cut a break on my Ta$man postings from Thursday.

    @nta An excellent question. πŸ™‚

Wouldn't be the first test match the Wallabies have played on Traf. Park.

However, we can start with an ABs -Argies match as a curtain-raiser - despite Tim of Arc's "voices"! πŸ™‚

Sounds like Beauden Barrett is a non starter for the weekend as he took no part in the training today.

For the Wallabies Izack Rodda will have shoulder surgery this week, so is out for the rest of the year.

Shame for Rodda as he was shaping up to have a good EOYT. He'll be back fresh for 2018 I suppose.

All these AB injuries might give us half a shout, but I doubt whether getting my hopes up is in any way healthy.

In good news, my indigenous Wallaby jersey showed up today. Finally. Ordered the fucking thing back in July, and they've been in shops since August.

@nta a shame for Rodda for sure, and I can’t see how the All Blacks can continue to lose players to injury without it have a significant impact at some point.

At least the injuries and unavailabilities allow us to rotate and blood players without actual rotation.

Props ranked 2 and 3 on both sides get game time.

Barrett and Tuipolutu get game time.

Another 10 gets a start (probably Lima).

We run out another wing (probably Waisake).

Expect Havili to get more time.

I'm not a fan of trying to guess the selection but if the best available team is picked I reckon it would go something like:

    1. Hames
    2. Coles
    3. Laulala
    4. Barrett
    5. Whitelick
    6. Squire
    7. Cane
    8. Read
    9. Smith
    10. Sopoaga
    11. Ioane
    12. Williams
    13. Crotty
    14. Naholo
    15. McKenzie
    16. Taylor
    17. Crockett
    18. Tu'ungafasi
    19. Tuipolutu
    20. Savea
    21. Perenara
    22. Mo'unga/Lienert-Brown
    23. Havili

22 is an interesting case. Do we go for DMac to cover 10, or Rieko and Naholo to cover midfield? I think the latter and pick Mo'unga. Is also a 3rd goal kicker. And introduces yet another debutant in the interests of building depth.

Where we're not building depth currently is hooker and halfback. And No.8.

Not sure how you could rejig the bench to accommodate an 8. Fifita to cover lock/6? Next best 8 is probably Kaino, but that's hardly an eye out to the future. And two tight-loose forwards might leave us a little slower against the Aussie loosies.

Also not sure Ardie is adding as much off the bench this year as he did last. But I still think he is a better bench option than Todd.

    But I'm rambling ...
