@justanotherfan Can't you go somewhere else with your negative attitude? I'm hoping to see Clarke play; whoever they play. Difficult or not. Glass half full.

SG, @JustAnotherFan is a bitter South African... is that a tautology?

@stargazer sorry, when I click in a thread it goes to the last post, and is easier to ask than scroll up through dozens of pointless posts to find what I want 🙂

Hmm, although the AB7s will still be playing for points, being dropped to the 5th place play-offs might just be a reason for the coaches to give Clarke an opportunity. Fingers crossed.

I wonder if there are South African based forums where tedious kiwis pop up to try and do some sort of weird gloating whenever the Springboks lose ? They'd be pretty bloody busy. It's weird eh.

@booboo that wasn't was his post originally said, he just put that as an awkward afterthought. For some strange reason my post quoting his original has been deleted... So now we can't quote others if they call you a dick. Weird.

    I saw the original ...

I'm assuming his original post was deleted? (Wasn't me.)

Either that or he thought better of it. Would have been a good choice on his part.

Usually when a post is deleted posts quoting same are too.

Wow, aussie lying on the wrong side of the breakdown blocking NZ from entering and retaining the ball and Aus get the pen. Try, Aus, no converted.

Dumb mistakes from NZ so far.

The ref should have played advantage from the kick through in the scrum.

Australia looking like going the tournament without conceding a try. That's pretty impressive.

Aus just in another class to everybody else.

This season Aus have kicked away from NZ in the Womens 7s.

I used the mute button midway through the 1st half. 😉

A very poor performance. How about one try?

Great display from the Aussies and a very deserved win.

Disappointing result for NZ, but most mistakes from the BF7s were due to incessant pressure from Australia, so all credit to them. The Aussies were also very lucky with some bounces of the ball. That's just the way it is; sometimes you're lucky, sometimes you're not. I think our women's team had a great tournament and this loss doesn't take anything away from that. More luck next time.

@snowy I noticed today he's now added "standing in the attacking line obstructing the team in possession" to his list of dubious refereeing skills.

Was just wondering. Could Caleb Clarke and Etene Nanai-Seturo both do a double this year? The U20 JWC in June and the RWC Sevens in July?

And would they be the first players to do that?

Edited to add that Koroi also qualifies for both.
