2017-18 World Sevens Series

@stargazer sorry, when I click in a thread it goes to the last post, and is easier to ask than scroll up through dozens of
pointlessposts to find what I want -

Hmm, although the AB7s will still be playing for points, being dropped to the 5th place play-offs might just be a reason for the coaches to give Clarke an opportunity. Fingers crossed.
I wonder if there are South African based forums where tedious kiwis pop up to try and do some sort of weird gloating whenever the Springboks lose ? They'd be pretty bloody busy. It's weird eh.

@booboo that wasn't was his post originally said, he just put that as an awkward afterthought. For some strange reason my post quoting his original has been deleted... So now we can't quote others if they call you a dick. Weird.
I saw the original ...
I'm assuming his original post was deleted? (Wasn't me.)
Either that or he thought better of it. Would have been a good choice on his part.
Usually when a post is deleted posts quoting same are too.

@booboo oh I thought he just edited the original... I can still see my deleted quote.
He might have done. Not sure.

Great display from the Aussies and a very deserved win.
Disappointing result for NZ, but most mistakes from the BF7s were due to incessant pressure from Australia, so all credit to them. The Aussies were also very lucky with some bounces of the ball. That's just the way it is; sometimes you're lucky, sometimes you're not. I think our women's team had a great tournament and this loss doesn't take anything away from that. More luck next time.
