Not often you see an 18 year old flanker starting a test for a tier 1 nation.
Pretty callow England team, so you'd fancy the Argies as favourites here. Interesting all the same though
-
Harry Williams will be carrying on the Exeter Chiefs tradition of playing International rugby with a daft hair cut (See: J Nowell, L Cowan-Dickie).
I'm hoping that there is enough experience in the side to provide some stability and allow the debutants to show what they can do. It's the bench that worries me more though, if things aren't going your way, you want a bench option to make an impact and ours still has it's 'L" plates on.

Is Slade the big ginga lad that gets a bit of a talk up in the press over here?
No, not sure who you're talking of? Slade is a bit lightweight in today's terms, dark haired, originally a 10 but has also been playing 13. IMO he's likely make a very good 12 too. His game is very front foot, flat line, good distribution but prone to throwing the occasional intercept pass. Good boot too. Dunno who the big ginga is though.

Ok. The name was familiar and I put 2 and 2 together but wasn't sure.
I look the kid up. Read a big article somewhere about him being the bees knees and heading for glory. -
@Catogrande That's the ginger bastard.

You guys are thinking Harry Mallinder. He's strawberry blonde.
That's beginning to sound like a bit of a crush.

I can't even retort to this because I'll get banned again.

Great to see ex St Peters College student Denny 'DJ' Solomona in the 23. He was always destined for higher honours since his school days.

Yep, good player. Plays at Northampton (Midlands club not SW, that's what threw me). Sone of the head coach Jim Mallinder.

Really enjoying this match.
Great intent and pace from both sides.
Difficult watching at times with all the shadows, especially at the breakdown. It's like Rorke's Drift.
Argentina 17 - 13 England at half time.
Some good tries from both sides.
Launchbury having a stormer.
-
What a match.
Three tries this second half.
Best game in ages
Argentina 31 - 23 England
