"Very disappointed. We came here to build on Saturday's performance...".

    Well, you actually did...

As a Bay man, I'm glad to note that Ihaia West scored the winning try and conversion. Should have started.

No, better to have the experience at the end. And Perifuture did set up the first try!

And there it is..."speed of the game" wondered when this gem would get trotted out
What did they expect? Have they not watched any SR?
It has been obvious for years the speed of the game in the NH is slow, slow, slow

Pretty cool competition going between Best and Sexton, but nice to see the Irish captain step up to the plate to show Sexton isn't the only massively overrated player on the field. They make a nice 1-2 punch though!

Yep, maybe the change could have been made at halftime, but the order worked well.

SBW has to start at 12 for the ABs. He was on fire, and in form he is miles ahead of anyone else. Physical dominance.

Was a great game of rugby - you could feel the intensity out there. Blues probably should have lost. You would have to say that it's hard to see the Lions doing well if they come up against another good pack (like the Crusaders).

Only if/when Crotty is not available. Crotty has been great all season.

Put Crotty at 13 with SBW, sorted.

Thoroughly deserved from the Blues. Stuck to the task and clinically and brutally exploited the Lions lack of pace and spatial awareness.

With a bit more precision and YCs being shown it could easily have been 5 tries to 1.

5 mins either side of halftime killed the Lions.

Luatua, Williams and Ioane played themselves into contention.

As mentioned earlier Owens, Tipuric, Webb, Halfpenny in the box seats for test match 23.
    Big competition for prop.
Itoje will be in test 23, Lawes won't.
Stander had a good match but not good enough to oust Faletau.
Biggar shithouse. Sexton not much better. Gatland's decision to select Farrell as an outside half borne out.
Centres never got a chance and you still have to fancy Te'o, Joseph and Davies to be vying for the test spots
    Daley is class
Nowell played himself out of contention
Liam Williams will have to do something remarkable to even get a look in

Talk about a competition to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. Lions prove far better this time!

Jesus the Saders will be licking their lips.

The Crusaders are going to destroy this lot, they only have the pack to attack with and that's the Cantabs strength.

The other sides are going to score a lot of trys.

@Pot-Hale How so is it bollocks? We are continually told that we cheat and are cynical, cheap shots. Ask your Irish friends. Oh sorry I'm supposed to be quiet when you kick for goal.

@hydro11 Lions only got dominance when the Blues starting props went off, and Marler & Sinckler came on TBH. Hard to see the BIL getting any dominance over the AB props. Laws & Itoje looked a good combination, a bit excitable maybe.
