Six Nations 2017

Pretty much as expected, with some question marks over how fit Wood and Haskell are in the bench. May have been tempted to start with the latter even if he only lasted a half.
Nice to see Nowell back involved.

Not sure if the Hughes injury concern was a smokescreen or if he is also not fully fit. For all the talk of depth there must be a big temptation to play some guys who aren't 100%

Well I just hope it works out better than the last time we played in Cardiff with a makeshift back row...
It will. You've all been 'painting pictures' apparently, different pictures with different paint, but you've painted them yourselves.

Wales' chances exponentially increased when they didn't elect Cuthbert. Or so every comment from Welsh fans would have you believe.
-
Howley bottled it.
Should have started with
Biggar, Halfpenny, J Davies, S Williams, L Williams. S Davies, Webb
North's not fit.
Hopefully we'll see the above with G Davies coming on at some stage in the match.
-
England still favourites by 7-10
-
Theres just something about this game that makes me think the Taffs are going to give it a real go ... and potentially come away with a victory.
I have no doubt that the Poms are the better team ... but the 6N is great like that, see Paddies vs Jocks for an example.

Ireland team to play Italy
- Not Johnny Sexton.
Italy
- Yep Parisse is still fit.
Hope the bus makes it to the stadium this time.

So do I, me an Mrs DoTS are going to Stadio Olimpico.
But I can honestly say, I almost wouldn't care - Rome is seriously impressive (I suspect I am not the first person in history to notice this)
-
@Disgusted-of-TW first visit there last year to watch the All Blacks. Can't wait to go back.

But North will hit the deck for a HIA and someone will cop the blame and get carded. It's a plan.

Mrs DoTW, of course! Blilmey, I would have been in trouble if I'd left her at home in favour of that Mrs DoTS trollop...
-
@Disgusted-of-TW Disgusted of Tonbridge South?
-
@MiketheSnow You can keep your favourites tag and shove it where the sun don't shine. Wales narrow favourites for me, playing at home.
Do you know whether Eddie has agreed to keeping the lid on or not? I suppose that depends upon the likely percentage of precipitation. Anything above 56.27% and he may say yes.

Not a chance, Cuthbert's in for North.
Lid open
-
@MiketheSnow Leaving aside the fact that I don't like to see any player injured, I think I'm more pleased about Cuthbert than the roof!
-
@Crucial The ruling is actually that both teams have to agree to the lid being open but of course in reality it means the visiting side have the whip hand. I'm torn on this TBH, on the one hand the lid being closed makes it an awesome arena, on the other hand rugby is an outdoors sport. Hmmm. what to do?
