Six Nations 2017

France running out of steam and ideas I think.
England just need to manage the remaining time and stay stuck in France's half.
-
@Disgusted-of-TW don't think anyone knew what that penalty was for, against Wood?
England with their tails up now for the first time in the match. Should win from here but have been underwhelming for me, notwithstanding the French have played well.
-
Picamoles Man of the Match - unsurprising.
-
Jeez - Jean Marc Doussain fucks up the penalty kick for touch after getting a last chance for France.
-
And there it is. England win.
15 in a row for the first time. Beat the 2003 gang.
Congrats England.
-
Argh, France are so frustrating to watch. Create loads of chances, but blow just as many. Ran out of steam, and then headless chicken stuff like missing penalty touch with time up on the clock.
-
Ireland lost too many line-outs. And gave Stuart Hogg too much room.
England looked in danger but France probably just doesn't have that self-belief.
England would need all their injured players back when they face the All Blacks, one day.
-
That Eng/France game was one of those ones where neither side showed themselves better than the other and there was only really a winner because the clock ran out (if that makes sense). You couldn't have argued either way as to who was best.
A draw would have also been an apt result and would have been better for the comp. -
France probably the better team over the 80, but the England bench made the difference.
Worst England performance for a while, so plenty to work on
-
well that shot all the experts thoughts of Dublin hosting a grand slam decider right in the arse, and no England wont go to Dublin and win.
Ireland did'nt back it up, all the hype that is, and England well they just played like they have for the last 12 months, average. Scotland have been the side of the weekend so far but they even did their best it lose from being 21-8 up. -
England haven't set the world alight, yet they get results.
Now think of it as a team building confidence - we all know continuity in selection is a good thing when possible - and then throw in Vunipola at 8 & Tuilagi in the midfield. You have a team that gets results and that can come from behind.
They might not be winning comfortably but I thought they at least 'looked' comfortable. They look like they have a plan and they play without hesitation.
Not sure what to make of the midfielders worthless chip-kicks aside.

Loads of people getting on the Scots bandwagon on Facebook.
Fuck off fluffybunnies. It's people like me who should be enjoying this victory. If the Black Caps get up as well there's gonna be one extremely pissed kiwi Scotsman tomorrow.
Well, there will be regardless but a BC win would be lovely
Gee that Hogg is a goodun. Lions fullback for sure.

He should've been the Lions full back last time with Halfpenny on the wing. He's a class player.

First time I saw him I wrote him off as a slightly dorky looking guy with too many freckles ( takes one to know one ) but happily I couldn't have been more wrong and he's become the player I hoped Chris Paterson would.
Dunbar is a big rooster but on the whole they seem to have jettisoned the big backlines they've had until recently?
Out of the team you'd have to say the Grays, Laidlaw ( to me he has midweek captain written all over him )and Maitland are others with a real chance to tour. Seymour too.
-
Really enjoyed watching both these games. Both quality i thought

At that hour? You fucken kidding? 3 minutes of YouTube footage is more than enough for me to make judgements and assumptions.

Did I just see Umaga playing for England?
Mike's son that is...
Yep, nice little cameo at the end. Impressive start by England, who only managed to beat Italy in last year's U20 6N.
Results from the first round for the U20s
Italy 5 - 27 Wales
Scotland 19 - 20 Ireland
England 59 - 17 France -
Fuck how big were France? If they stuck to smashing in to England and offloading to get behind them before shifting it they would have rolled them. Those French wingers though, hopeless, no awareness of where they are on the field. I guess picked cause they're huge?
France ran out of puff i think, the winning try was piss easy, and their bench offered fuck all
