All Blacks v Ireland II

LEARN THE LAWS
Loss of possession === no knock on - Barrett can't knock it on with a strip. IRB clarified this a couple of years ago
Stone cold wrong again
ps - not saying I agree, just frustrated that the laws get applied so inconsistently
-
Look very strong with ball in hand. It'll be tough to beat that second half in the republic but I really see them absolutely obliterating them in the second half look full of running and Ireland are out on their feet and surely the penalty lottery swings back against them.
Still see them tickling 50 in the classic 2016 test.
-
we are far more dangerous with ball in hand ,
if we can control possession of course -
9 penalties to 1. Fuck me how are we winning?!
-
Yay we get 1.
-
dont wont to go too early here , but if we control their maul , they dont have a lot with ball in hand

So Far I count at least 6 yellow cards that the ABs should have conceded according to these morons
In addition to the two reds.
-
I'm really surprised they have gone to the boot for the penalties rather than the 5m lineout and maul. Under the way thelaws are erffed it's almost impossible to stop that combo by a competent mauling team. Almost as if they don't back themselves this game or are more passive

Cane's shoulder hit his head. How is that not a high tackle?
Exactly, bias on here is ridiculous at times
Justin?

Irish Commentary gets 5 Phil Kearns out of five Cantabrians for one-eyedness.
They have gone to the Steve Walsh school of watching only one side. Absolutely no mention of the high shot on BB as he scored, no acknowledgement that Cane had a head clash or that Cane was later smacked in the face at a ruck. Every marginal move by the ABs is worth a yellow card.
-
Well Jack O'Piper doing his best to keep Ireland in the game.
Obviously influenced by the Paddy skipper whinging about "in from the side" compounded by the need for a make up call on the BB try in the Smith YC. Crap call. Ball was out.
Similarly crap call on Cane. Tackle wS 100% legit. Turnover was too. O'Piper penalised the t/o then had to stick eith the pen despite all evidence to the contrary.
Wouldn't mind seeing some kicks in behind them.
Ireland generally holding the ball well though so we don't have much posession.
Our D generally good.

HT ABs lead 14-6, Irish are fucking whingers (commentators, fans, players [Rory Best]). ABs look good with ball in hand but need to hold possession a bit more. Ireland growing more and more unlikable.
Tawera Kerr Barlow is on special comments for Radio Sport and is cheerleading less than the Irish Comms.

At least he is part of the team

Good argument for a PT on the deliberate knock on by Trimble
The attempted intercept? I thought that was a good ref's call
I think right call. But I've seen them given in exactly that situation.
