David Warner only scores at a run a ball in the 90s. What a fluffybunny. And this one time, he took more than that. Hanging's too good for 'im!
Fact of the matter is he has 13 hundreds in 91 innings. He averages 45. His average strike rate is 97. I think he's doing okay (and I'm pretty sure Ross Taylor would kill of his record)

Doesn't Khawaja buck the cliche of Asians being good players of spin?
While S Marsh has scored well in Asia.
Probably some logic.

Khawaja is terrible against spin. It's tough because he is obviously one of Australia's best batsmen. I would back Marsh to score more against him in India though. Most teams don't really do a horses for courses in the batting whereas they do with the bowlers.

Yeah sure he slows down in the 90s.
But he's probably the fucking quickest to 89.

As much as I'd love to froth at the mouth over dropping Khawaja for Marsh, it might make sense.
If Usman can't play on Indian decks, and everyone knows it, and he's batting like shit at training, why put him out there? Yeah he's great on harder tracks, but cricket in India is a different game.
Meanwhile Marsh goes out and bags a hundred against India A overnight.
I'd think this was a bit much if they dropped Khawaja for a match at the SCG, or Headingley or something. But this is India, and I think a totally different approach may well be justified.
