After a great start, OZ have had a batting collapse.

10/60 after 142/0. That is some collapse. Sounds like I can take credit for that- watched a bit and then pulled the pin just before the wheels fell off.

What? You're telling me the Marsh brothers at 3 and 4 wasn't a success? @NTA will be shocked to hear that.

Gotta feel a bit for the Aussies though. When you look at the quality of players they've had in those positions over the years this lineup must be an assault on their eyes.

Pakistanis appear to have their own version of Guppy in Babar Azam.

Averaging over 50 in ODIs and T20s and 28 in tests.

Oz appear to have their own version of our 90’s and 2000’s batting lineup too

@mn5 I guess if the next best options are Head and Labuschagne, then they've out-batted those guys! 🙂

Shaun's test record is actually OK - if he was a NZer anyway.

A test average of 37 is pretty ho hum especially when you consider some of the ridiculous talent oz have had for well over 20 years

@mn5 Without doubt - though I can see why they keep picking Shaun given some of the other guys who they're picking (including Mitch).

I wish we were playing them during this dry spell - while Smith and Warner are banned.

Dejavu or is it just a copy and paste from the post you make every year about the Marsh boys.

I’m no fan by any stretch and thought their old man was overrated, but that’s all they’ve got right now.

There's a gulf between being angelic, playing hard, and being a caaaarnt.

    Playing hard; Baz
Waugh, S (because he had the talent and ethics to back it up, and Warney seems to hate him)

    Caaaaaaaarnts:
    Haddin
    Watson

Oz in a bit of strife with a days play to go.

Pakistan need 7 wickets with OZ little chance of getting the 300+ to win.

The brittle middle order will be under huge pressure.

@act-crusader On the plus side, those Marsh boys won't be under any pressure.

Having a quick look at the Cricinfo commentary - Finch and the two Marshes all fell on 87. Mitch was also nearly caught off his first ball. 🙂

And some guy commented...."All thirteen Australian wickets have fallen to either to a man who spent his early to mid 20s as an electrician or the man who used to work as a welder."
