Even the bean counters are talking about learnings
It's been corporate speak for over a decade.
(Not an endorsement by any means).

Certainly a bit sad for all at the club etc, and hope they can get new positions etc with other clubs. I not really surprised in one way, rugby hasn't been pro for all that long (25 years), and I imagine a few more are still working out all the ins and outs of sorting out paying off set up costs etc?

English Premier League instead of Worcester and possibly Wasps
-
@MiketheSnow this can open the door for our CC Premier league teams Cheetahs, Griquas and Pumas.

Worcester and Wasps owe huge sums in unpaid tax. Neither club is going to survive.
It looks grim but if the clubs go to the wall, creditors are unlikely to get too many pennies in the pound. Don’t underestimate the ability for a deal to be made.
My guess (based on fuck all apart from a hunch and a dose of cynicism) is that Wasps will survive and they will let perennial relegation candidates Worcester go to the wall.

Asset strip the club, then blame the players and fans that it failed. Utter scumbags
Doesn't seem to be very diplomatic does it? Though to be fair I not sure what they asset stripped etc, haven't followed it enough.

They sold the club carpark and other field for fuck all to businesses they own recently. Cos 'the club needed the money' but that is asset stripping. I would imagine they will be sequestered back when the club is wound up, as it is within 6 months

Great game today between Saracens and Leicester. An open but pretty even game to begin with but in the end Sarries just blew away the champions and stuck 50 points on them. In amongst a very good team performance, there was some excellent individual displays but Theo Mafarland, the Samoan lock/flanker was simply outstanding. A ridiculous performance.

@Bones wonder if we have anyone doing similar in nz with our refs, cos when you watch the way some of these guys ref and the errors they keep making you wonder if they get reviewed at all.
Reffing is a critical part of the game, and a poor ref can ruin a game, so helping refs be better should be a high priority (that's without talking about the rules, although that's probably part of the issue with some refs)

We need more Pro refs, and I don't know what they are paid, but maybe not enough? But certainly multiple international training camps, better oversight throughout the world, refs doing other countries domestic comps not just NH refs doing SH internationals. While they are at it, a group of a dozen, whatever, full time judiciary members who do all international disciplinary commissions via video. Get some consistency there
I see NZR is trying to recognise refs more by giving them carrots, I was a bit confused a couple of weeks ago when I saw a bunch of people dressed up posh, then noticed two refs with caps on!
