@Bones I watched a fair bit of the recent games and that was a poor selection of highlights. There was a lot more that was substantially better.
Yeah it was ridiculous. How was Hoohaa running 5m to flop over the line a top moment?

@MiketheSnow what the fuck was he trying to do! Jesus.

Shit technique and a bad attitude will catch up with you eventually

Finally
'The moment he'd done it, acknowledging the mistake he made'
Did he fuck.
Pulled a Hollywood as if he was hurt.
Dirty c**t finally pulled up on it.
He has got away with it for so long by pulling a Hollywood straight after as well.
Finally gets his comeuppance. Just wish it was earlier and in a more important game. -
Headline bears little relation to the article but much will depend on the starting point.
Have to laugh at the support from a pro-wrestler with a signature clothesline move.
Don't get the so called mitigations that 'he didn't mean it'. The guy is deliberately reckless with his tackling. He knows it will go wrong sometimes and the consequences are worn by the poor bloke he smashes.
It's like saying that the recidivist drink driver didn't mean to cause an accident. -
And i thought Chad Townsend's send off on Friday night was going to be the dumbest tackle i saw all weekend

what?!
Assessed as 10 weeks, sorry, matches. Down to 5
Look at this for the most piss weak thing you will read all week
“Testimonials provided by Mark McCall, Eddie Jones and the founders of a charity with which the player works very closely were of the highest quality.
"The Panel concluded that applying the off-field mitigating factors, notwithstanding his suspension four-and-a-half years ago, the player was entitled to a reduction from 10 matches to five meaningful matches under RFU regulation 19.11.11. The player is free to play again on October 5.”
hilarious.

Pretty much as predicted.
Top end ban with a 50% reduction as he doesn't have a history of red cards.
Because the refs were useless and didn't card him.
Certainly has a history of high shots and shoulder charges. One of the unpunished ones even went one to be the WR video for 'this is not legal' -

He's never even had a yellow or citing before. Therefore squeeky clean record, 5 weeks is what he was always going to get

@Machpants eh? Doesn't the quote say he was suspended just over 4 years ago?
Absolutely gobsmacked that testimonials have fucken anything to do with a hearing for a high tackle in a rugby match. What a load of shit. A charity!

And where is the equivalencies of judgement when someone can pull out the big name testimonials because of their enhanced position.
A young unknown doesn’t get that advantage
