Just on Bryn Evans. He's a pretty leftfield selection compared to most others even with the glue player angle. He's done pretty well at Sale and has been a solid, reliable performer. That said, he's never come within a million miles of any Prem team of the year list and wouldn't really come to mind picking an outstanding performer in that position.
As a LI fan, he was actually pretty disappointing in his stint with us before Sale.
Waldrom on the other hand was superb for Leicester and Exeter.

@Margin_Walker I saw something posted on the Warriors page that he is being kept in for a 2nd night...
Hope it is just precautionary

Warriors lock Michael Fatialofa has been retained in St Mary’s Hospital in Paddington overnight. Fatialofa was taken from the pitch on a stretcher after he was injured in a collision shortly after he came on as a replacement in today’s Gallagher Premiership match against Saracens at Allianz Park. We will provide a further update on Michael’s condition when we have one. On behalf of Michael we would like to thank all those who have passed on messages of support and concern.
That sucks poor bugger.

A link to the footage of the Michael Fatialofa incident - https://rmcsport.bfmtv.com/rugby/premiership-tres-vive-inquietude-pour-un-joueur-de-worcester-blesse-au-cou-1835515.html. Really doesn't look good from his expression.
Bloody hope he comes through this unscathed.

@Canes4life
Doesn't look like anyone did anything wrong (at least nothing obvious) - just very unlucky. -
Michael Fatialofa will undergo surgery tonight as he remains in St Mary’s Hospital in London.
We continue to thank everyone for their outpouring of support 🙏

@Stargazer
Intercept, fumble, saves it with his left hand. Brilliant? Nope. Well done? Yes. -

@Bones he does seem to be a genuine GC.
Smart too.
Read an article he wrote on the current difficulties with VAR in soccer and he absolutely nailed the problems.

Yep. I have mentioned before but I went and saw him speak at AKL Grammar school.
Being the only gay in the village was tough on him before he came out. Was an attempted suicide, etc but seems like a really together guy now and yes, @Victor-Meldrew , smart too.

I'm watching Kobe Kobelco Steelers v Canon Eagles on Sky Sport 1.
Quite cool to see all those NZ players on the field again, even if it's in Japan and although it's mostly in the Kobe team (5 Brodie Retallick, 6 Tom Franklin, 10 Dan Carter, 12 Richard Buckman, 14 Fraser Anderson, 22 Andy Ellis etc).

@Machpants Kobe was good; Canon Eagles only in patches. It kind of reminded me of watching preseason games in NZ. Not the best rugby, but still entertaining. A mix of players you know and players you don't know.
Apart from one try, none of Kobe's points were scored by Japanese players ...
I think games played between teams with fewer non-Japanese players and an equal number of non-Japanese players, will tell us more about rugby in Japan.Sky broadcasts only one game live per weekend and I don't know how they decide which game they'll show. Tbh, I was only watching to see the Kiwis play, but will probably watch the game each week regardless of the number of Kiwis, just to be able to form an opinion.
