Music to rev you up!

Before rugby games I normally listen to metal (esp. Slayer) or dramatic classical music (Holst, Mahler etc).
Monster Magnet is always fun.
Not sure our 13yos would go for that ...

I only like Shihad out of that lot, I don't like Tool much and I fucken hate Disturbed. They do absolutely shocking shit I'd appreciate more of the Sound of silence from them and I don't want to get down with the sickness, I did find some good stuff from the homeland for you to get down to though.

So worth it just to watch the little hick nerd go full fucking retard on the drums at the end.
My daughter is utterly fascinated with the singer, and wants to do that.
Reminds me of being surprised to find out the singer on this track.

Fucking aye bro - I just googled for this link. Props for not picking the Buster Rhymes version

Rage Against the Machine - always amped me up!
TR Jnr was going through my CDs and listening to some, he likes RATM....

Top work on the music choices gents. I can take or leave most of Fergies stuff but that song rocks. "Ante Up" is just classic, no two ways about it.
fucken funny what kids listen to and end up liking, I picked my boys up the other day from school and heard this on the Sound and BOTH my boys sang along despite never having heard it. Outstanding...Judas Priest will never threaten my top ten rock bands but this song is pretty damn cool and catchy.

I am a bit more retarded than everyone else when it comes to music to rev me up. For some reason I get a lot of energy from slow melodies.

This has a slow start then into a great tempo with Roger Daltry screaming the lyrics. Even a key change 1/2 way through. Just what you need for entrance music.

@Crazy-Horse I read an article a few years back about a study about peoples performance while working out and they said slower classical type of music was better than the upbeat music most prefer.
Found this though
