There is some precocious Mooloo talent, especially the 4 young loosies. And the Roe-Cruden combo has been extremely good in controlling play. If the tight 5 play their part it could be close.

Seems us Lions fans are more concerned than we should be based on what you guys are saying about your team.

I don't even I'll ever in my life think a Wellington based team is a favourite for a knock out game. Been burned (most of) my life.

To be fair, the Lions are kings of choking.

But man for man, they're considerably more experienced!

We’ve been favourites plenty of times, we’ve just choked on so many occasions.

Didn’t we make 7 finals or something between 2000-2012 and won nothing. Crazy.

Finals and Shield challenges have generally not been our friends during my Lions rugby viewing lifetime

Off the massive amounts of NPC I've seen, I can't see the Y having the goods to roll us.

They can console themselves after the game by collecting their stupid fucking bells outside the stadium and ringing them all the way home.

Seems like a few changes to the 23. Mostly the bench

1 Ollie Norris, 2 Manaaki Boyle-Tiatia, 3 George Dyer, 4 Josh Balme, 5 Tai Cribb, 6 Xavier Saifoloi, 7 Senita Lauaki, 8 Malachi Wrampling, 9 Xavier Roe (c), 10 Aaron Cruden, 11 Aki Tuivailala, 12 Quinn Tupaea, 13 Bailyn Sullivan, 14 Oli Mathis, 15 Tepaea Cook-Savage

Reserves: 16 Pita Anae Ah-Sue, 17 Mason Tupaea, 18 Sefo Kautai, 19 Patrick McCurran, 20 D'Angelo Leuila, 21 Quintony Ngatai, 22 Austin Anderson, 23 Waisake Salabiau

Strong start by the Lions. Making easy metres before Cruden turns it over.
