@Canes4life at times? Generous call that.

It's going to be interesting to see how Numia goes in the scrums with the AB XV as he has been penalised quite a lot in the games I've seen. NH opposition and I assume NH refs.
Numia seems to be looking a little tired. He’s had a massive workload this year. Played almost every game for the Lions and isn’t dominating like he was for the Canes and at the beginning of the NPC. Unfortunately he can’t be rested now and then he’ll be straight on the plane after the final. (If the Lions make it through). So he won’t get a rest for a while yet.

Must say I’m surprised Wellington won. With sotutu in the counties side thought they would be unbeatable.

TJP went well today. More influential than Roigard.
Proctor had a great match.

Jeez I dunno about that. TJ blew a clear try with a no-look pass and made several other mistakes. Roigard looks short of a run unsurprisingly, so not the highest bar - but still.

Best player on the field for me was Higgins, then Aumua. That try they put together he almost had a bit of Tim Horan about him.
But fuck me I'm sick of these rolling subs. Higgins once subbed should stay off the field.Agree, Higgins is by far the biggest attacking threat of any centre in NZ right now, his footwork and offloading ability is out the gate. He’ll need to improve alot on defence though.

yup my man Higgins! what an asset! a little work on his D, then hed be complete!

Him and Lakai are probably to the two biggest talents to come out of Welly school rugby in the last ten or so years, so glad they’ve both made the AB XV, hopefully they get plenty of opportunity on that tour. Both of them are still so young so it’s scary to think how good they could be.

@MiketheSnow better forward platform?

@MiketheSnow better forward platform?
Quite possibly
But what you want to see from your 'Dupont Killer' is the ability to take the game by the scruff of the neck even when on the back foot
If he can't do it at NPC level then it's unlikely it's going to happen in the Test arena

Lol he's just come back from a serious knee injury, give him at least a couple more games to find his feet again. Roigard wasn't as influential as he was last week but he wasn't bad at all, up against a fairly stacked Wellington side.

The way he's been bigged up I was expecting him to walk on water
