@Landers92 yes, for Canterbury he has lots, and at the end of games for Crusaders he's finished there.

Razor in his Crusaders days said he had potential to be a great 12.

I don't rate him that highly.. but he's got a point of difference due to his physical dimensions, similar to a young Jordie - he's filled out a bit more now... also massive boot on the kid - and very long levers providing good offloading platform from 12.

It's not like he's not going to play but he's a good squad pick since he covers 11-15.

You’re drunk. He doesn’t play 12. He predominantly plays winger because he has never been able to nail down the 15 jersey, he’s even been kicked to the wing for Canterbury this year. Interested to hear your take on that one… You’re only kidding yourself by trying to justify him being pulled into the squad when there are multiple better players out there than him mate. End of.

And this is coming from someone who's associated with the same club as Fihaki!

    You're both Burnside boys right?

Fihaki for me plays really well on the right wing but makes me nervous at FB.

    It can't be JB

    Beauden?

Holland was saying some of the squad had a 24 h bug, which was the reason BB was withdrawn. I don't think he is injured.

Yeah but you mention it almost as much as @Canes4life mentions Roigard and Proctor.

Probably because I have a point or two. Fihaki though, what the actual fuck. Stink selection.

If it was just to have an extra body for the week to help with training, and they can look at a young guy they think has potential. OK, maybe, but then again why not chose someone playing locally in Wellington if that is the case? They could easily have brought in Higgins and we'd likely have said far less - especially after his recent play in the NPC.

Oh duh...if they call in a local then a crusader misses out on a hefty pay bonus.

I think so. And in Higgins case, it is probably only a matter of time. Or, at least will be once he signs with the Saders.

I have nothing against Fihaki but he has not set the world on fire until now. He's got potential but this announcement is the surprise of the year IMO.

I can't remember what crusader was called in while they were in Auckland now.

He's only there for squad cover, honestly who gives a flying fuck, I've saved my energy for lamenting the shit selections that Razor is making with his actual 23 and woeful bench management. Fiyaki is simply there to hold tackle bags, this is meaningless in the grand scheme. I'm far more concerned about the direction of this team's attack and defensive structures under the underqualified Super Rugby coaches Holland and Ellison.

@darylmitchell you're really not concerned that when the coach needs someone to just "hold tackle bags", he flies someone undeserving in from down south instead of selecting more worthy players locally?

I don't think that's accurate. Because the next justification is easier to make; he's been in the environment and knows blah blah blah

Nex minut: Here's a cap. Congrats on becoming an All Black.

Meanwhile the exodus increases at pace.
