@kpkanz it will be a very hard loss for Scooter to take as captain. There will be a few tough lessons for him (and the team) when he rewatches the film next week and especially that last 10-15.
It reminds me of that 2004 loss and Umaga’s first as captain in the Republic. Some lessons handed out that day for him as a captain.
Oh well onwards and upwards we hope and we get a chance next weekend.

There was some dumb, dumb shit - esp in the last 10-15 minutes - but I didn't think we were that bad. This was against one of the great teams playing at home and a completely random ref - and yet we lost narrowly.

They were pretty ordinary but we were stupid when it was time to close out the match.

- Dinks in own half terrible
- Restart receives terrible
- Ref just no.
- How come we can spend 5 mins examining under a microscope various plays by the TMO then miss a drop ball try. Why didn't the TMO alert the ref ?
- Cross field bombs, may as well give SA the ball
- Can't beat long exits
- Reiko to wing, where's Proctor
- Overall proud because there was a helluva lot of good stuff shown. Super frustrating

Hard to argue with most of that.
There are too many non specialists in the team.
Rieko at 13 and Beaudy at 15 just doesn’t sit well with me.
Not that I’m blaming either of them for today.
