@ACT-Crusader I never mentioned anything about the past did I? I simply mentioned ‘this’ squad. Good to see there are still a few Havili apologists out there though

Oooh I can play this game too.
I never responded to you just @Crazy-Horse because he mentioned Foster.
But now that I am replying to your comment, the whole premise of your argument was that another coach wouldn’t select him in this squad, which is just an opinion suggesting he is only there as a ‘crusader pick’ or because of favouritism or something along those lines. Not sure there is any basis in that opinion but all good it’s yours.
Also I would debate the use of apologist because that suggests the defending is on a controversial decision, whereas given his selection by the past two coaches it wouldn’t be seen as that controversial by some. Also very few that were in the RWC squad aren’t in this squad. But again that’s open to debate.

@ACT-Crusader fair enough mate, pretty hard to figure out over this forum how to take someone’s comment so apologies if I’ve taken yours the wrong way and was in response to someone else.
The opinion about Havili stands though, not alone in that opinion either that’s for sure. In saying all of that, I have been on here saying he can be a good player. Personally just think he is well past his best and is only there due to the head coach. 👍🏽

Wow. I can’t believe I just read ALB being used as an example alongside Havili and Bridge.
Yep. rock solid and a great team player happy to play anywhere. Fully deserves 100 caps.

Probably harshly judged based on coming after Smith , Nonu and SBW.
But I have to be honest he has never blown me away.
Too much sideways running behind the gain line from my bar stool.
I'll also admit, there isnt exactly load of lads knocking the door down to take his place.

Thought this was mildly interesting. Springboks number one and RWC champs... but the blackness is clearly the biggest billing...
Biggest or first?
Wales have Fiji, Australia and SA in that order
I would posit that is challenge and significance ordered too -
@MiketheSnow LOOK AT THE SIZE OF ARDIE THOUGH

Mario showing the southerners how to yell at a line out?
You miss Luigi too huh?

Is that some banter or did Narawa trod on his own dick?

Rough.
Brutal from Ioane.
I would've said those in glass houses.... but he's obviously not worried about Leon stepping down.
-
@Bones he should be…. 😉

@Bones don't think Narawa's form in SR 2024 even warranted an All Black spot tbh.
Rueben Love however can feel aggrieved as Perofeta got 2 starts against England after playing like 5 games for Blues all season while Love was the most consistent and best fullback throughout SR.

Ellison and Holland have both coached Proctor so Ioane shoudn't be so confident especially if he doesn't perform this week (assuming he's selected).

@darylmitchell Love was also nursing an injury in that England series which is maybe a reason he wasn't selected initially. His time will hopefully come on the EOYT.
